Hi chriswg52,
I am for one am really happy you are so pleased with your P990 and seem to encounter nothing more than a few minor irritations. But i do take exception on your view that those who own one and are currently reporting problems are not smart enough to use it properly and are just whingers for complaining. I don't know you or how smart you actually are as opposed to how smart and smug you feel, but some of those that are reporting faults are some of the most respected members of this forum.
You may well be prepared to accept what they are not but that does not make them wrong just that you operate with and expect lower standards than them. If you can not accept any criticism of a less than perfect product or your beloved SE you are truly sad IMO. It is their money and they have every right to complain and point out when things are wrong as you are to accept it.

For gods sakes dude you dont half go on and one dont you??, you and your constant moaning about the phone and its inadequacies. Yes we know you are not impressed with the phone and you have major issues with it and SE...yes we know that...now shut up about it as its getting tiring and boring hearing you regurgitate the same old points over and over again.

@SEP990i, yes that is correct I don't think there is many free 'open' hotspots in the UK though. Wish I lived in New York hehe

I think you might be surprised how many 'free' open hotspots there are in the UK. I'm in Edinburgh which is a fairly compact city, and there are *stacks* of open spots available so it is always worth checking. NodeDB can be worth checking, although it's easier just to do a search as most people don't report their AP these days. The site seems to be down right now, but it should be at nodedb.com .
For those wondering how to check whether their mail provider supports IMAP IDLE (AKA push email for the masses), you might like to check out this blog post: http://feetup.org/blog/mobile/Easy-Push.html . |

supposedly the best one. They are shipping from Singapore but it doesn't take more than a week with normal shipment. |

I am using a Martin Fields screen protector and it is excellent. The clarity is as if there is no protector at all! I have used Boxwave and Brando in the past. They are all actually very good in my opinion.
@ Dogmann -- I'm glad we reached an understanding. Enjoy your N93!

Screen protectors
For some reason I always mess-up my MFOP screen protectors so I tend to use Brando Ultra Clear which are very easy to apply and then remove.

The P990i got a showing on UK BBC TV last night, on Newsnight. If you're in the UK you can see the video online until about 10.30pm BST tonight. Here's the link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsnight and the mobile section starts at 32mins 36second in. Enjoy. |

o2, orange and vodafone are all saying Friday 8 September mate.
Spoke to our vodafone business manager and he said they're (Exeter High St store) getting delivery next week. So am guessing it should all be ok. |
