Thanks Mark, this is helpful post. I can't see difference in picture quality. A word to people claiming that earlier fw were better in terms of picture quality, do this kind of test to prove a point.

makavelli132,

Before I started this latest updating I wanted to be sure and decided to delete the previous versions of SE Update Service on my XP SP2 PC. As I couln't remove the software neither by Control Panel/Remove programs nor SE's own Uninstaller I simply deleted everything in C:\\Program Files\\Sony Ericsson\\Update Service folder before installing the latest UpdateService_Inst_2.2.13.7d.exe there. I opted for Run instead of Save.

No conflicts with older files/folders this way. I did not face problems of any kind.

i think SE can best answer the questions of what enhancement they put in a new firmware. but ever since i don't think they officially release any information like these.

[b]to those who updated thier K750i to R1BC002[b]

kindly try this.....

1. play any mp3 from ya media player.
2. minimized ya media player.
3. go to CALL LIST options now.
4. push up/down the joystick and hold it... the highlight will start jumping.
5. kindly observe ya media player will pause playing mp3 and it will resume once u release ya push up/down from the joystick.

i have checked with R1AA008 firmware that the push up/down of joystick on the above condition will not pause the playing of mp3 in thier media player minimized in taskbar...
