Found one very irritaing thing with the WIFI-settings. Confirmed it with XP-support as well.
There is no way to set different settings for diffrent networks other then password and so..
This mean that everyime you change network to another network that doesn't have DHCP you have to change the network settings with IP-adress and router and so on. There is no way to have diffrent places set as I have found out.. and the support didn't know a way as well.
Maby there is a third party software for this? Anyone who got any idéa, please let me/us know!

Anyone know which uk provider has dibs on the x1?...
I'm on vodafone at the minute and is on their site coming soon.. wouldnt mind changing network though!

I called in O2 Germany today and I was told they have it currently available! So all germans here on Esato: go get it... I will go for my upgrade the next days! |

iam still confused...
tracy and matt said that x1 128MB RAM of 384MB RAM is for 3D chip...how did they know about that ? i think x1 RAM is DDr SDRAM not VRAM...i means if x1 ram is 384MB DDR SDRAM so it doesnt mean it is VRAM...can you explain it ? |

obviously i might be wrong. in fact i'd be supprised if all the uk operators didn't end up taking it sooner or later. but i think o2 and voda are the only ones to officially confirm...
plus, alot can happen in the 4months since that news story was written.
