No worries ofiaich. It's a steep learning curve for all of us new to Android I guess. OT, When are you in Japan?

Thinking of changing my satio for the X10, would you guys recommend it, is there any good or bad about the x10 i need to know before making a switch?
I have just got the X10 and also have the Satio. Camera wise the Satio wins hands down, but the UI on the X10 more than makes up for it. There are more than enough apps on Android market to keep you happy, unlike the Satio where most usefull apps are to be paid for, apps for the X10 are mostly free and those you need to pay for often have a lite version to try for free. Only thin I do not like is the keyboard, Where as on the Satio you can choose between QWERY and alphanumeric keyboards, on the X10 you have QWERTY for text and other apps, and just numeric for calls. I belive there are apps out there to give you the alphanumeric keyboard, but the only ones I have found are to be paid for. That to me is soo far the only let down with the phone.

I have an alphanumeric keyboard on mine which automatically switches to qwerty when in landscape, and it is possible to have qwerty in portrait too. I didn't pay for any. Have you installed the HTC keyboard?

You can find the source and tutorial here. It only takes a couple of minutes but it's quite an improvement.

I can change what keyboard is used in landscape and which is used in portrait in the settings if use the in-built Chinese keyboard (which I do as I'm learning Chinese, live in Beijing and use it more and more daily) but I guess you need a HK region X10 for the Chinese option keyboard.
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |

I just wish SE skip Android 2.1 and go straight on Android 2.2 in the big September update. The Froyo's SDK will be released in the next weeks which will give SE enough time to work on it. |
