In defence of the Proteas, the Australian tours are too long...the schedule has been drawn up in such a way that the only team able to win consistently in Australia is the home team...how would the Aussies do if they had to endure three months on the Indian subcontinent?
Also SA have not been competitive in the games they played, Brett Lee's devestating spell last week was indicative of things to come had they reached the final.

Right now I'm freezing my mielie off while in a snaking cue around London's Astoria Theatre, waiting for the doors to open as one of my absolute fave metal bands,Soulfly, begin their UK tour.
Oh well, will soon be warm enough once all that double-bass starts reverberating off the walls... |

Am I the only one that gives less of a flatulent emmission about how the national cricket side did, and actually is more bothered about free wap?
Possibly!

@siosal: Checked my itemised bill, I've been charged for GPRS. After owning my P910 for close on three months I've only recently got to grips with the handwriting recognition.

The official unofficial news concerning the free wap/web over 3G and GPRS is that in preperation of 3G(HSDPA), AND in preperation of challenging telkom with cheap web solutions, vodacom are "Giving" free wap to see if the network can handle the stress of huge data amounts... this however may be either true or 100% false, but lets hope for the latter. That is info from someone at vodacom tech dept.

Noticed today that Virgin Mobile have launched their website, they're recruiting so if anyone here is looking to work in a cell shop better get your CV through to Richard Branson's guys.

Don't usually do this but have to give props to Rhino for the heads on the free GPRS. Been listening to Virgin Radio's classic rock channel which sounds awesome...and I haven't been charged.

My ears are recovering well after the din they were exposed to last night...
Taken with the 3230:
Obvious evidence of some 'zooming in' with this pic taken during one of the percussion interludes. Should've taken a pic or two when the lead singer/rhythm guitarist, Max Cavalera, had a solo with the traditional Brazilian tribal string instrument: the berimbau.
Taken with the Panasonic VS6, also using the zoom to an extent:
Will try out the SPV C550's camera at the next gig that I attend.

Virgin Radio(the main channel) is coming through crystal clear...I got so excited that I tried downloading the Rok TV app but it's only available to peeps in the UK. Any got a link to where I can download it(.sis file) for my precious?
@da wanqsta: The first pic is nice considering it was taken in bad light...ain't the 3230 supposed to have a 1.3mp cam? The other pics are "so so" but I doubt you had any Pulitzer Prizes in mind when you took them.
With my P910i it's hit and miss as far as taking pics is concerned, sometimes they come out looking like a million bucks and other times they're piss poor.

@ brixster,
LOL,yeah definitely no Pullitzer Prizes for those, but I think you summed it up quite well regarding cellphone pics being 'hit & miss'.
The 3230 is indeed 1.3mp,but generally the pics,in more ideal conditions, are usually pretty good for such a basic cam...more so than the 2mp Panasonic's on most occasions it seems, even with all the latter cam's additional bells n' whistles.

Just came out of the hot blazing sun...about 10 000 Muslims marched in Cape Town to protest against the Danish cartoons...what I found funny though is that one speaker managed to involve Zionist even though they didn't have a hand all this drama.

@xbz85: What are you trying to do mate? Connect to the internet via usb?
If indeed you're trying to do I what suspect you're trying to do( that sounds weird) then I suggest you stick with the :BT: even though it drains your battery.
Although I've got the desktop stand I've never bothered doing anything through USB..I'm cool with my :BT: dongle...that's unless I'm brave and want to attempt a firmware upgrade.
Good luck...try posting in the "Sony Ericsson" forums or in the specific K750/W800 discussion.
