okey now i have tried the Syncmypix app, really easy syncs well BUT

for the first all mini thumbs in your phonebook getts blurry, you cant see what it is supose to be.
second, when you press a contact its all hiress and perfekt but...

then if you decide to crop the image in syncmypix it looks nice in the mini thumb but then when you click on that contact the image has been destroyd by i guess to hard jpg comp settings

exactly, the contact pic looks ok on the mini thumb but when u click on that contact or got a incoming call from that contact, the pic looks terrible and low res when they stretch it to full top half of screen. I prefer to leave the pic smaller than fill in top half and low res, so there is no other app that can do the job better? Thanks

did read quick at his page, as soon as you crop it crops it automaticly to 96x96 pixels thats why it looks like crap

Do you know how to connect X10 to PC 'as a modem'? Like having a notebook with internet connection taken from X10. Is it possible with X10?

@caff111

did some more testing yesterday, and even if the syncmypix would alow bigger "cropped" picture there is another problem the x10 uses a rectangular image for call pictures. so they get streched and look fat (and my friend Jessica saw this and threttend to hit me if i did not removed that "fat" picture of her

adding the pictures one by one gives the absolutly best result, but the pictures does not get updated daily/weekly. you wil have to manualy change everything but as for now. i will set them maualy. i prefeer quality, but "new pictures as they change on fb is cool" but the result does not fit in my high-end x10 maby it works on "normal" android phones that uses square pictures?

in conclusion the minithumbs in the x10 phonebook are the only plays the pictures look like crap, my handcent app the images are perfect (on one side effect when you manualy set an image you are abel to choose what part of the picture that will be seen when someone makes a call, default is the top, but some pictures the face is in the middle or lower part of the pictures, then it fails)

@caff111 yes

and you cant press the picture and "edit" it in the phonebook when syncmypix have added it, i think that would have been nice and the x10 would have reset the image and remade a new thumb for the phonebook

@caff111 i really dont know or i do kinda know if its the screen size, 480pixels wide. and hight... hmms i should be around 240 pixels but that is just a guess. did some eye measure just looking at the screen

it seems when you choose an image in x10 it gives you a rectangel and when it saves the phonebook thumb it saves the center of the rectangular for a square picture.

Edit, a sulotion for synxmypix would be that for every picture when it sets by the program you get the option to chose wich part of the images what will be used as you do when you manualy set them, takes some time yeah but it would look exactly as you would like except that you dont have to manualy add and choose the picture just the easy part.

We have an old saying here in the UK:

I would want to see it and use it, BEFORE I handed over any of my cash.
I have owned the ... T68i T610, P800, P900, P910, P990, W950, P1, W960 But SE have now totally lost the plot.

I would if someone gave me one! It got confirmed on XDA, here is a blog post about it: http://www.xperiax10.net/2010[....]nfirmed-to-work-in-xperia-x10/ I can't link to the XDA post because they banned me after I got into a flame war with fm1776.
