What do you want in your phone? If the MP3 player, camera and games are your prime interest then the W810 is for you. If there is a lot more you want to do you could consider a smartphone.
A pretty good alternative to the rokr e1 is the slvr L7 it's a pretty nice phone but then it only has a VGA camera.

The Moto slvr L7 is nice but as you said vega camera and it doesnt support itunes. There are not alot of applications available yet and most of the good ones are a trial versions. The SE W810i is nice but pretty expensive (2660 le) and lacks an os but on the other hand it got a camera with a flash (very useful thing), autofocus, memory can be upgraded up to 2 gega and a way better battery while the Nokia 3250 got an os and the ringtones are polyphonic (64 channels while the SE W810i is 40 channels). I heared that fitting big memory cards makes the mobile lags alot so I dont know in the case of the SE W810i having a 2 gega capcity is a good thing or doesnt worth it.

As far as I've heard the 4GB cards work fine. But on s60 I'm not sure how they cope with big cards. What about the K750? Or the W700? If you're going to buy a 2GB card it doesn't matter much, its not like you can give the smaller card to your brother. And it does support 4GB cards, they just weren't out when the phone was announced.
As for ringtones it doesn't really matter how many chords it can play in midi 40vs64, chances are you're going to use an MP3 ringtone anyways.
As for iTunes on the motos, whell it might be better than the moto player but it has a 100 song limit, so itunes isn't really an advantage.
What about the V3i with itunes? I doubt its more expensive than the regular V3i which is 2200.

Another question, In the specifications of the Nokia 3250 "hot swappable microsd memory card, support up to 1 GB ", can I put bigger cards or I am limited with the 1 gega as the maximum option.

Thats a user opinion from another website, and please be patient and read it all. Is the information he stated is true.

"SE w810 may b a little better in takin photos coz of d auto focus and flash than 3250 but remember u can use image editor softwares to enhance and reduce noise on images captured by 3250 when taken under low light conditions otherwise both r almost equal in quality when takin pics under good lighting. also, video quality of 3250 is better than W810 plus d fact dat 3250 is symbian whereas W810 is not, u know watta i mean.. screen physical size, no contest 3250 has larger. re: pluggin ur own headphones, 3250 can do dat too with d AD-41 adapter included so pluggin in Sennheiser PX200 is not a problem to blow d competition away vs SE W810/W800 coz d latter has better inbox earplugs (obviously dat's y they r more expensive than 3250) u can buy 3250 at a cheaper price than W810 so u can purchase Sennheiser PX200 for a far more better quality than earphones from W800/W810! so my suggestion, if ur lookin for a more rounded-do-it-all (almost, except wifi, upnp and other leisure/business stuff) phone, i highly recommend 3250 (buy only at authorized distributors)! one more thing re music functions, 3250 has more supported formats like wma and eAAC+ (so u can save up to 200-270 full tracks) on just 512mb microSD with very small quality loss vs AAC! not to mention d ability of 3250 to search in music library (like wat u do in ur phonebook, typing in d first letters) to quickly change/select from 1 song to another! W810/W800 cannot do dat, u hav to scroll down to a long list of playlists, how tiring! oh b4 i forget, do u know dat 3250's loudspeaker is around 60% louder than W810.. and take note of its loudspeaker quality, W810 is no match to 3250! and another thing, 3250 has realplayer which means ur far more supported by network operators worldwide coz mostly streaming contents r .ram/rm files which realplayer is capable of playin unlike W810/W800!"

On SE phones you can plug in your own headphones too. The 3.5mm jack isn't on the phone but in the adaptor. And are you really going to buy a better set of headphones? Because if you aren't the stock headphones with the walkmans are far superior.

Are you going to transform you collection to eACC+? You already seemed to be thinking of a 2GB card.

The argument about the camera is lame. Its not about you can take same size pictures and you can fix all the bad ones in photoshop. Most people shoot pictures and show it to people on there phone and pass it on on their phone or computer. Why should they worry about having to edit the pictures first?
Als camera speed should be an issue. Nokia smartphones are quite slow in general, Any W8xx will be faster. And the camera is used in a normal way with no body twisting.

Are you going to stream content to need real player? Mostly real player is used for playing 3gp videos, any dumb phone not to mention walkmans can play those.

If you prefer the 3250 you can alway buy it. Its not going to be 100% horrible. I personally shouldn't be the only person answering you questions. I'm sure there are more people out there that can answer a lot more questions.
I'm also not saying to go only for the W810. As I said before if you are going to buy a big memory card then it doesn't matter what you get in the package. W700 is always a quite cheap option. You can always flash it to a W800.

Why don't you read a few reviews of the phones you are considering and then decide for yourself.
I'd go to mobique.com mobileburn.com and mobile-review.com/index-en.shtml

Hey guys,

I'm back, been in the army the past week. I finally got a 512MB Memory Stick Micro (M2) for my K800i, I listen to Dire Straits in the army

It's just so cool, well, a little expensive that what I was expecting (more expensive than a 1GB one in USA), but you don't always get what you want

@mzee: How much budget are you putting for your phone?

@mUstafabay: How are you man?

Nice, same price but only half the size. We also don't get a very good deal for the phones either. How many times does a phone's price drop abroad? We get about two. I would think that complaining to SE enough might get us a better dealer, so should we try?

Hi everyone,

I need some advice on holidaying in Egypt. Question is where to go? A bit of background, currently in London, have been to Dubai many times and I am looking for a totally pampering holiday. There is me, my wife & 4yr old son. Son likes swimming pools/beach. Looking for a great/best 5 star hotel. Don't really have a restriction on budget. What we do want to see is the typical tourist spots. This is going to be a one off trip to Egypt, so we want to get the essentials in. Looking to go around after mid October. We love heat, so hot weather is not a problem (actually, hotter the better). I have seen prices do rise around UK school half term, so I am going to try and avoid that week.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance and looking forward to visiting this wonderful country.

Welcome Raja,
My recommendation is to go to Sharm El Sheikh. It's the best resort town in Egypt, and the weather is great at this time of year. You and your family will just love it. Do some internet research about hotel deals, though Movenpick is a very good recommendation (Specailly Movenpick Golf). One thing you will miss though which is sightseeing coz this is a resort twon so fun time is beach, pool, and sun, sand, and wonderful water activities

Thank you for the warm welcome,
mahora, Sharm El Sheikh was the first place I had initially thought off, but we would be missing out on the great treasures of the Pyramids. What about around Cairo? It's a toss up between around Cairo or Sharm El Sheikh.
Thanks
