The CD is like the other cds... the xconnect software and stuff... But you will need the CD if you want to upgrade software in the future through the net... |

Yes the cable which you can sync... Can download software upgrade? Anyone knows where to get the upgrade either then the Emma2?? |

Hey I think now that we're getting more confirmed dates from SE singapore.. we should leave the confirmation of dates up to a few guys. Tony seems to arh with the SE pple.. if he can confirm the other person's post then we're all set.. !
So we need these 2 things confirmed:

1.) Is it confirmed next wednesday (29th May 2002) available?
2.) Must we pay the $15 for the upgrade and the CD? If under warranty must pay?

huni>- You definitely have to convert your T68mc to English version first. That is to T68. T68mc cannot accept MMS upgrading. SESC can do the convertion for you. But you cannot convert back to mc again if you want to have the new sw.

Okay guys, I have just spoken to SE sw Engineer. The feed back he gave it to me as follow:-
1. Due to the sw is more onto T68i, we need to have the T68 i user manual and CD rom to run along with our handphone. The T68 sw will not be in our handphone anymore. All data in our handphone will be towards T68i. Therefore they are considering to impose a charge on the CD rom and the user manual even though is under warranty. The charges had not been confirmed but it will not be more than $15.
2. The sw now is been tested by our network providers, their network must be able to support the MMS upgrading. Once it is okay, SE will be able to release for upgrading.
3. They confirmed the releasing date will not exceed the 1st week of June, untill our network provider had found no problem in supporting the sw than upgrading will be done.
As SESC had confimed the date and price of the upgrading package, I will check with Eve in this afternoon.
Hopefully this little info can satisfy our long waiting T68 users.

really can;t wait for the upgrade, i know i can depend on
all the things that said abt bad management/marketing of SE is wrong hehehe at least for me
