HI, I'M LOOKING A PC SMS SOFTWARE THAT CAN SEND 'EMS' & NOKIA SMART MESSAGE (NOKIA PICTURE SMS) USING IR THROUGH MY T68I.

First of all Float and Crino : Great app ! Loving it so far.. One thing simply will not work with my T68i : Phonebook sync.. Everything else works absolutely perfect ! I run XP pro SP1 on my desktop and connect using serial. I use 0.0.9.8. Here's what happens when I start phonebook sync :
4:55:40:666 [RX] OK
14:55:40:676 Start Sync Phonebook....
14:55:40:686 [TX] AT*EOBEX
14:55:40:716 [RX] CONNECT
14:55:40:726 Obex Session Established
14:55:40:766 Obex negotiated: PacketSize=512
14:55:40:776 Retrieving telecom/pb/luid/190.log
14:55:41:026 Retrieving telecom/pb/luid/cc.log
14:55:41:076 Obex Session Ended
14:55:41:086 Sync Phonebook terminated
14:55:41:096 [RX] OK
And that's it.. no exchange of phonebook data took place. Can you tell me where I'm going wrong ? Oh, and I apologize if someone already brought this up, I haven't had the time to read al 25 pages of posts yet

after the sync u've to refresh the phonebook in treeview manually ... in the next release it'll be automatic

Hi Crino,
Perhaps I'm interpreting the use of phonebook sync wrong.. I'm guessing that when I sync and refresh like you mentioned, the contents of my phonebook from the phone should be synced with "local", right ? Local stays empty I'm afraid.
One other thing I just found out, if I run FMA without the -debug phonebook sync won't start at all ! The app just states "starting phonebook sync" in the statusbar and remains that way.. Strange ?

The grid with result of sync is under 'PhoneBook' node.
Click on node and grid will appears 
After sync refresh PhoneBook's childs manually

have a problem when using "long" sms - if sent into another phone (ofcourse which is supporting long sms), it shows weird letter and signs instead of text..
is it "official" bug of FMA (latest version), or my T68i FW R5D007..?

i have had fma for some time now and it worked flawlessly and for some reason this morning i tryed 2 connect and i got this error 12:55:49:390 Connection Error (0x00002726)..... i am using b/t i have an unlocked t68i.... i have a microsoft b/t adapter..... i have paired cpu to phone ..... has worked b4..... have most recent version need help asap thx |

overall, Mobile Agent v0.0.9.8 rocks and I especially like the keypad feature,but....
when I tried to send out an SMS i get the error message " '$' is not a valid integer value ", how come?
I'm using it with a Billionton BT dongle and a T68i.

I forgot to mention that i use it with Windows 2000 professional. Hope this helps in tracking the bug. |

i get the same problems too . and what's weird is that the recipient still gets the message despite getting the error. so sometimes, i just ignore it

I tried using version 0.0.9.7a and i don't get the error message but it seems that i cannot minimize the application. can anybody help with this please. |
