sumahodigest posts a lot of nonsense, so I wouldn't trust the site.

It's still a rumour thread whether be it correct or wrong.

if 3/4 of the stuff they post is wrong, it's not rumours but false information to attract visitors.

We like the purple versions.

I wish they'd kept the notification light.

Actually, they can use the screen as a notification bar or something like always on display

A black screen and a single flashing light uses less power than powering up the whole display to display icons, wouldn't you say? For instance, I have a blue light to tell me when a Whatsapp message has arrived.

How does it work with the screen if it is oled? Can it only a small subset of pixels be turned on with the rest set to off and black? Sure it will be visible, but a small LED flashing is probably more efficient as you say and might be more visible.

Funny. About ten years ago there was a similar discussion about notification leds.

How about one on the back? They can integrate it in the flashlight.

How about using transparent antenna bands on side of the frames and put leds on those. They will be visible form every side and would be a great homeage to the xperia s, p, u, sl and sp

That's what I've been saying - the NXT series should be the new design language, particularly the strip.
Time to bring it back.

It's been eerily silent. I hope Sony will still sell phones.
