Thats funny because the Pixon12 was rated the WORST images produced in GSM Arenas blind shootout between N8/Pixon12/Sony Hx5v.
Winner of the blind test was N8
Wow , take it easy man First, the comparison is made in bad weather, N8 big sensor have advantage .
Second - in test not use real commersial Pixon12. Use old test model.
Real compare Here with two diferents Pixon12 and two N8

@Sassho
I am sorry, I didn't mean to come off angry, but its hard to not get frustrated here with all these people trying to put down the N8 for no good reason, and especially when you make a silly comment like..
"the comparison is made in bad weather, N8 big sensor have advantage "
So the weather was bad indoors also? and for the macro shots, and low light shots?
So, when you go outside to take pictures you have to hope for nice sunny weather all the time if you own a Pixon?
Doesn't this tell you that the N8 can handle more lighting conditions than the Pixon?
That fact right there is a huge advantage for the N8.. so I don't know how you can say Pixon 12 is so great.
come on man, stop with the crazy excuses just to hate on the N8 already..
and where do you see they used an old test model? sounds like a bunch of excuses to me
Just admit the N8 is the new king

New king but cross-eyed, N8 want new glasses I like how shot N8 , but quality ask more. For real good photography I want good detail and close MACRO, have N8 this things?
OK. let's make new blind test. Which picture is better - Left or Right. Don't look in EXIF ofcourse

@Sassho How do you plan to decide which one is better while they are totally different scenes and different times? |

Nevermind, just look at the detail |

That's another dumb example as the other before... If we want exactness, we must compare photos in the exactly same conditions. And the point here is exactness right?
See my photos taken with the C902, Satio or E72 in here! |

@Sassho,
I cant see the pics because I am at work, and they are blocked, but I really do not even need to.
You can't just pull 2 random images from each phone to try and compare.. this is ridiculous.
You cannot be serious. |

@zide
exactly my friend
and that is what was done in the GSM Arena blind test. all the cameras had to deal with the same conditions.
saying that it wasn't fair because Pixon12 cant handle cloudy weather is the biggest fanboy excuse i have ever heard.
that is like one team saying its not fair they lost the game because it was really hot outside, and they don't like the heat.
totally rediculous..
@sassho
I am done debating with you.. my only conclusion is that you have to be either Nokia hater or Samsung fanboy
At least Vit backs up his claims with real photography knowledge, not just ignorant comments..

Chill out dudes. Everyone has their preferences... That's a normal thing. In fact I like Pixon's12 camera, but sometimes it is kinda exaggerated: too much sharpness and contrast. It's a fine camera and with low noise levels though.

Please trust me when I say this is meant in the MOST respectful way possible.... but if you really believe that then simply don't buy an N8.... otherwise it just seems like you are on some other agenda to bash nokia... I (in all fairness) don't own EITHER phone but when I get my N8 Im sure it'll be even better than my N86 and don't really care how others view it.....
Just ask Jake20... on the AT&T forum I started to do a whole comparison between my N86 and C905a till I realized I was in some cases (even with both phones taking very similar pictures) maybe favoring the N86 as I knew how to maximize its image quality pretty easily... when the truth is they are both GREAT camera-phones.... Same here, if you like the Pixon then buy it.... but if you like nokia, then buy it.....
I'll go one step further to say that even with a pixon or N8, Im willing to bet some users of this forum would be able to produce better images with their elm, c901 or C905 then some "joe shmo" off the street could do with either of the aforementioned devices.
I for one however tend not to believe any reviews I read online.... good or bad.
Cheers.

For a normal user camera is not very important , imoprtant all functional to phone. Many peoples will find such thing in N8 - OS, Camera, Video records , GPS . N8 is good alternative on Satio - better camera , video and music quality.
But for users who want's camera quality Pixon12 is better solution. Pixon is BEST in MACRO , Portrait , Landscapes - samples in all mode Here Also playing with high quality sound.

dude, you are cooked!
you already said that Pixon does not do well on cloudy day, didn't you? now Pixon is best in all modes?
and what about Pixon blueish tint on all its pics?
you are making me laugh very hard man..
and what about video quality? I see you just are ignoring this aspect, as Pixon12 only 480P and tons of pixelation.

jake20 easy man You're not photographer and not understand what is important in cameraphone. Maybe low level of noise , maybe night shots , maybe big sensor? No man - most important is color reproduction, sharp wide angle optics , good quality of JPEG and close MACRO.
You think Pixon shot bad in the cloudy mist day? Take this man All links full ofcourse
And take this
And this
And this
And now who is the BEST............you?
