Why choose Cybershot Xperience?
So many additional features without losing any of the original ones!
*Amazingly vivid colours and quality
*ISO Control
for both flash and non-flash shots
*Advanced Auto-ISO Flash mode
*Shutter-speed control
for both Flash and non-flash shots
*Manual Focus
*Manual Contrast
*Manual Saturation
*Auto-exposure lock on/off
*Advanced Hue/Tint selection
*Manual Colour balance: Cyan, Red, Yellow, Purple
*Forced flash on/off
*Colour Correction On/off
*Focus and other features in video mode
Record videos in QVGA (320x240) and CIF (352x288) with the same driver
And more..!
v 6.5 released
Change-log:
* Added support for WVGA video recording in 400 x 280 resolution at 26 to 30 fps.
To access WVGA recording, turn on Night Mode in Video mode.
This is the highest resolution that works properly.
* Improved auto-mode
* Improved Slow Shutter scenes
* Fixed all bugs (Face detection error, Dark auto mode after scene change etc)
Why The Video Record ReSolution are not same with the latest?
i using the QVGA mode(320x240), that record result is same(320x240) Frame Rate: 29/sec
but when i use the WVGA mode(400x280), that record result is (400x240) Frame Rate: 25/sec
why not 400x280?is that a bug? |

I have read of several complaints about this situation.. so here is a good tip for indoor flash shots. It has worked very well for me.
Sometimes when using XENON flash, it leaves the background very dark, and it only lights up the subject directly in front of you.
A way around this situation is to use CBE 6.5 manual shutter speed option with flash. This will light up the subject nice, and the background will be lit up as well, and not dark.
You can play with the shutter speed if you need more or less light.
See below sample shots.
AUTO with Flash
Shutter speed EV+0.3 with flash.. Nicely lit background

witchking..why dont you try to convert jpeg into raw format is it possible? |

@sandeeppvo
The phone does not support RAW Output, supports JPEG.
Plus it's a big minus to develop each RAW Image manually, difficult for photography on the go.
----
But you can get JPEG's of RAW's quality if we make the images 100 % free of compression, i believe C905 can support that
---
Overall, i think that reducing image compression above a certain limit makes no big deal in the quality, it drains the memory card real fast though.

@jake
Really amazing Low-light shot, certainly not boring

guys,
I would not get too excited over HDR just yet.. unless witchking can pull off a miracle in his CBE driver, you will ALWAYS need additional 3rd party software like Photoshop, Photomatix, etc.. to make a true HDR picture.
Not even high end DSLR's can do HDR photos within the camera hardware.. you always need additional software to do it.
It would be great if we can just get some good exposure bracketing options to work with.
But lets also not underestimate the ability of Witchking.. I know he will push the C905 to its limits |
