It's way out of line comparison. You knew that it's a feature phone and not a smartphone. Unless you'll be getting a S40 and not S60. Remember, some users even gets bored with smartphones.

Yeah..I know the difference.. I didn't realize that I would miss the S60 advantages so much if I had bought the C901...
No offense to anyone...  We all prefer different things. I would have loved to have some functions from SE in my Nokia...like the camera and Xenon...then the 6720 would have been a real beast! |

What were you looking for ? be able to read pdf, word etc documents ?
From what I've read so far, the only major drawback of this phone seems to be its plastic feeling... Too bad they didn't use the same material of the W995 or C902.

Not that much maybe, but I like that I can customize the adressbook as much as I want, I like the active standby layout, I like that I can move around the menu and have it as I want to, I like the calendar better in S60 and I use it a lot, multi tasking is no problem.
SE is very locked...you can multi task a little, but no more. The adress book is very limited. Everything has its place in the menu and you cant do anything about it.
I was very against S60 when I had a SE phone...I thought I had the perfect phone then... But after a year with the E51 I can say that I will not go back. If the E51 have had a great camera and great flash I would have the perfect phone! Solid metal, great size, great display, great keypad, good battery...
But if you are satisfied with only a great camera that's ok with me.

Ya a little info here,
C901 message tone is 10 seconds long.. at last SE did change the T610 5 seconds style..

those 6 types sms ringtone are still there,
what i'm talking about is now C901 can play 10 seconds sms tone when sms received.
last time, my T610, K310 and C702 only manage to play 5 seconds sms tones..
(even the actual ringtone is 5 minutes, but when u set it as sms tone, after sms is received, the phone will play the first 5 seconds only, in C901, it plays the first 10 seconds.)
at last SE did change something.. maybe they see alot of SE users apply patch to make sms tones longer than 5 sec

So Green heart is available at kl???? I asked at Ipoh last night and it only have pink and black...so I just get a black
now I have a question.... in the box, it add a small piece of paper about how to login to Facebook but the app isn't in my phone memory or M2 memory....anyway I wonder is that app stored in the default Memory card come with the phone.....then i am doomed since the shop upgrade my card to a 2GB sandisk.....  |

hi.. u from bolehland also? hahaha..
no need to be worried about the M2 card, because there isnt any M2 comes with the phone actually..
and in case u want to know, SE does not put or installed apps, ringtones, themes whatsoever inside the M2 memory. that will doubles their job
why they wanna put those things inside M2 memory? there are still alot amount of free space in the mobile itself..

maybe you must update your software version. In my phone, facebook apps was already there. Im using R1EA031 when 1st purchase of it.....and now i've update it to latest one, R1EA034. |

mine is R1EA033, doesnt has the facebook apps also (didnt bother either coz i got no facebook accounts)
according to the stickers at the back of phone,
my phone is 09W22, means is built on year 09 week of 22, (around May),
so people out there if you wanna buy C901 with preloaded facebook, find the one with the latest date of built..

Nope they did it before I remember for F305 is having some game put in M2.
ya from that boleh land ...
anyway found that it is related to the firm ware I have in the phone.
a bit lousy for SE to put the leaflet into the phone but the phone didn't have the firmware that have facebook app added.
using R1FA035 now and it come with it....Previously the phone is R1EAxxx |
