Another level to try on LBP...
Title: RGB!

She's got the knack of making pretty good looking platform levels. This one has three different routes.

Will give it a go! My first level is nearing completion, but I worry that it may be too long and difficult. We'll see!

Get it published and I'll certainly give it a go and let you know.
Sam actually managed to overheat the thermometer making RGB! It's still maxed out now on the published version.

My thermometer doesn't seem to go up much. Maybe that's because a good half of the whole level is glued together into one single object. I've had the message "this shape is becoming too complicated" come up a few times. But then I don't know what's normal with these things yet.

The shape too complicated message is quite common if you try to make things from one piece, you're much better of making things in segments. The thermometer doesn't go up much with just materials and shapes, it's mechanisms, sensors, switches, lights etc. that add to it most.

Cheers mate, I haven't really added a lot of that kind of thing in yet. Hopefully tomorrow I can get into it properly and finish it off!

Trying to finish off my level but I'm stuck because it is a dark level and I need some lighting in certain places before I can publish it. Does anyone playing LittleBigPlanet here know where or how to unlock some good, decent lighting? All I have at the moment is three crappy stars.

There are loads but I'm not sure exactly where you unlock them?
Meanwhile here is my second LBP level hope you like it. This one is a puzzle level based on a popular childrens game
Title: Screwbubble Scramble
Author: MikLSP
Description: Guide the prize bubble over a series of obstacles for points and rewards. May bring back some childhood memories.
Cheers,
Mik

Nice mate. I only just turned my PS3 off for the night, but I'll be sure to check out your new level and your girlfriend's ones tomorrow (I have the diamond shaped sticker now).
By the way I noticed you hold the overall record out of everyone for the first level in 'The Wedding' in the main story. That's pretty cool! I must say that level pisses me off more than anything.
On an unrelated, but still PS3 based note, has anyone noticed what happened with the new Need For Speed? It was hyped up so so much and they said it was going to bring the series back to form, but nope. Some of the worst reviews I've ever seen, especially for such a big release! I got an advertising email for it today and just laughed. Pretty hilarious really.

@ Mohammed-Oli
I hadn't noticed any scores tbh but I'd suspect I'm just top of your friends scores as opposed to the whole world but you never know Press square to cycle the leaderboard.
NFS is another franchise ruined by EA and their production line approach to pumping out quantity instead of quality.
@ Caspa
Have you been and bought LBP yet? Why not?! |

Yeah sorry to get your hopes up, but I realised when I saw your name top on several other levels that its simply that you're top of my friends list.
Anyway my level is nearly ready. It's taking a lot longer than I thought it would but it's starting to look really nice!
