ok well I ordered one from ebay which is benig delievred on Monday but... I'm impatient so I went along to CPW and picked one up on the £25 12month tariff. Was supposed to pay £30 for the phone but takled them into giving it to me for free and I also got a 1gb M2 for 30% off nistead of 10% off which they do if you buy accessories with a phone

The CPW one has no O2 branding that I can see, no statrup or shutdown, so that suits me fine

I got mine from Bloomsbury CPW store on Theobald's Road (near Holborn and Chancery Lane. You can call them on 08701 682 769, Branch Manager is Abraham. I got mine yesterdy, mate got his about 2 hours later. Went in there earlier with another mate and he got his today.

Like I said before the CPW K800is will be branded now.... I spoke to a mate who told me that there is no generic code for this on their system and the only way it will be simfree is when buying simfree.

Hope this helps
Cheers

@masseur

you could sell it to a fellow australian for a good price instead of making me wait weeks for the model to be released here lol

After I asked for my PAC code from Vodafone yesterday, accounts phoned me asking if I'd stay with them. Yesterday they wanted £85 and then £60 for the phone on upgrade. The guy who phoned me said he'd give it to me free. So I now should have my K800i arriving on monday. Not bad, as I'd been wanting to check out this mobile tv thing that Voda do and you get 30 days to try it...

The guy said that they had 1000 K800i's delivered yesterday and over half have now gone.

Hopefully the branding on the phone won't be too bad and or else the davinci team can come to the rescue soon.
