what settings are you using? the colours seem to be a bit washed out. Try another white balance, like daylught

@tranced: I love the Fly shot and the sunset shot(silhouette). May I ask what are the settings did you use for both pictures? I've been trying myself to take a silhouette shot, but what happens is that, it brightens up the dark part of the pic which is supposed to be dark. This is probably caused by the extra exposure setting of sarmads 5.7. I was trying to take a silhoutte pic (light at the background), and settings I used: Picture quality:fine, infinity, night mode on, and macro on. So im not sure what I am doing wrong. Also, when doing some shots at night, picture is somehow overexposed when using the same settings(Picture quality:fine, infinity, night mode on, and macro on). I have no idea as well what is the EV the previous guy mentioned. Anyone can help me with this please? |

hi
im glad you liked them. in the first one i used the cloudy settings, manual focus up to 4.0, no night mode. in the second i used the daylight settings only.
night mode lighten the dark places. that's why you get overexposure sometimes. you can adjust the EV to -1.0 and your pics wont look overexposured.

Thanks tranced! But, wouldn't your pic get noises if you don't set night mode on when taking low-lit pics? And how do you set EV to -1? |

@invu: they get a bit of noise. but if you focus directly to the center of the image you will get the less noise possible. if you want to change the EV settings, you just have to move the joystick to the left or to the right.
