@teexl: What is this craze about hitting the 5k post before 1st Jan 2006? Is it really that important?

My resolutions for 2006:
1. Give more time and energy to ministry
2. Expend less energy on business and still earn more money (do I spy someone smiling?)

Resolution1 was largely inspired by Pastor Bim's transition. She served God with almost unparalleled zeal! That's the kind of energy I want to put into preaching, teaching and ministering in the new year. That would be an excellent tribute to both herself and the Lord.

@All: thanx, now I really feel bad that I forgot you guys.

@AYA: Talking about Pastor Bim, she was more than an inspiration...a real blessing to me. For 3 years I sat in her class( singles fellowship) learning to build a happy godly home . She completely changed my orientation of marriage, cancelled my fears and doubts and encouraged me to choose wisely...'go for the content not the container'. Above all, she taught me to put God first in every stage from friendship thru courtship to marriage. I just thank God for willing and righteous vessels like her. We'll truly miss her.

Excellent! That's where most young people miss it. They are looking at the wrong thing and eventually fall flat on their face.

There's no better advice anyone can give than that.

Yes; we will,in a sense. In another sense, some of us will ensure that her transition does not leave a void.

Honestly, thinking about Pastor Bim's dedication made me feel like a backslider, even though I happen to be a dedicated person as well. You understand how I mean.

Honestly, I may be in bed at that time, unless PHCN keeps their end of the bargain.

Similar situation at Olowoira Junction, Ojodu. A lot of people will have their "cross-over" church service in their cars and in public buses tonight

Thankfully, I don't have such a service to attend.

@Mikky: sorry about the traffic, I had my own share of the traffic on 23rd. The serenity of the countryside cannot be exchanged 4 any amount of money to be made in the cities. Yes I am from Agbor.
Aya I admire your zeal, I have been striving to attain such without success. Maybe 2006 will my year to encounter God in such a manner as Late Pastor Bim did.

I wonder what your choice is. I am at home with my family. Since tomorrow's Sunday and there's going to be a full service, we opted not to hold a "cross-over" service tonight.

@amby: Thanks. I'm really looking forward to a year on a new dimension in the Lord. Its daring, but I love to dare for more (and I'm not thinking about Pepsi!)
