Just got mine through today as an upgrade (O2) and so far not good.
The camera shutter must be faulty as the camera app keeps starting by itself and after opening and closing the phone a few times the screen graphics got all corrupted and I had to take the battery out to get it back to normal.
Just happened again while typing the above, here is a picture:
Will complain to O2 and probably think about getting something else!
+EDIT+
They have no more in stock so I have to wait to exchange it!

Guys when i setup my email account is only has a packet network to connect. So when i have a wifi connection enabled, will it bypass it and start a packet connection to read the emails or will it use wifi?
In other words, if wifi is enabled, will it take over and be used for anything needed internet to work? |

I use Google Mail (IMAP so I get email pushed to the phone) and it swaps automatically from 2G/3G to Wi-Fi. This is great because at home my signal often drops, so while I do miss some calls (and then get a 'you were called by xxx' text messages) I never miss email.
I must say that the manual is pretty rubbish on telling you much about anything to do with data/Wi-Fi/networking. If it wasn't for forums like this, I doubt anyone would have a clue!

Pretty good dude - the FW has been great, all but on the FW038, I kept getting restarts when switching between 3G/GSM and GSM Only modes. FW042 has fixed that, so that fixes things nicely.
Those who have said texting is difficult, I really cant see why - its rather easy.
Video playback is stunning, while its not a BRAVIA handset in any way - the 2.4 inch Mineral Glass panel really reminds me of my T650i of days gone by.
I have however had one complaint - maybe its an early build issue, but the M2 cover seems rather flimsy - and I fear it breaking - I hope its not the case!
Other than that, thumbs up all around - Impressive loudspeaker too, so overall, 9/10 so far.
Sony Alpha.

To those who have been having trouble with Branded Sat Nav aps (i.e. all the Vodafone people) I've just had some success with AmaZeGPS.
I've written a short review of it here

Getting push email via Google Mail is easy.
Enter imap.gmail.com for the incoming server (smtp.gmail.com for out).
Make sure you have SSL/secure access ticked for both.
User name is account name (less @gmail.com, although I think that works too). Password is obviously the password!
Do a send/receive and after the first download, it will offer you the chance to add push (it detects it on the server).
That's it! Whenever you start up the phone, it will connect and remain connected to receive emails instantly. If you should lose the connection for some reason, just do another send/receive or reboot.
(You may need to go into settings via www.gmail.com to activate IMAP access but I'd expect this to be standard now)
The best thing about Gmail is how effective it is at getting rid of spam, but more importantly NOT accidentally blocking genuine emails.

On a non branded phone what does the Blogger Function do? Does it allow you to upload photos to anywhere? Also does it keep the geotagging data when you upload?
In respect to geotagging does that only work when GPS is on? Or does it give a more general inaccurate tag when GPS is not on?
There have been many issues with Google Maps, is there anyway to get the version of GM that is on the non-branded handsets? |

The Blogger function uploads your pic to a Google Blogger site, but there's no easy way to tell it to go to your existing site (if you have one). Instead, it creates a new one on the first upload. I am sure there's a way of merging it, but it seems stupid to assume every user is a first time user (especially as you'll need to repeat it when you get a new SE phone, or possibly even if you've done a firmware update that reset everything).
There's the option to upload to other websites, but it asks for a web URL, user name and password. I'm not sure what sites would let you upload with just that information!
If you turn Geotagging off, it doesn't record any data at all. Not even cell site based info that gives an approximate location.
As for Google Maps. I don't know what version the branded models have, so can't comment - but the SE one is still copyright 2007 and I've seen 2008 versions on other handsets. While the map data is always downloaded, I am sure there are other behind-the-scenes fixes and improvements that we're not yet getting.
