Honestly speaking, I'm unsure about that, but it sounds likely. I just know that the total amount of RAM memory is 384 MB, but it's quite possible that 128 of it is used for video RAM.

Mizzle is 100% right. Xperia X1's RAM has been upped to 384 MB.

Well, first of all, that's not a retail version. The ROM date is almost 1½ month old. I suspect the early adapters have purchased non-finalized products without knowing so. The final version does come with 384 megs of RAM.

Okej then read what the people fron SE told on the chat at the swedish mobil.se

The Enes IMEI starting with 0044 and the other's IMEI starts with 3572. Both prototypes or? Daniel Vandija

I'll ask Gustaf Brusewitz myself in a bit, would like to know the answer myself. I know it has 384 megs of RAM, but as said, it's quite possible that only 256 is available for apps.

Well at least I don't think the product's software hasn't been developed in a month prior to its release.

To be fair people can get information wrong once in a while...
But Mizzle has clearly stated that he would check and find out... which again ill repeat... he does not need to...
He is valued trusted member who has provided information in the past and to be fair I cant remember the last time he was wrong...
It could be the fact there is 256MB RAM and the additional 128MB RAM for the Video Card...
Until its made clear please watch what you are saying.
Thanks
ENJOY

No it doesn't. Do you have a link to a newer whitepaper than this?
There is absolutely no physical evidence of the X1 having 384MB of RAM. All tangible evidence so far is pointing towards it having 256MB RAM. The only evidence of 384MB RAM has been either someone from SE mentioning it or anecdotal. I would love for X1 to have 384MB, but it is looking like it does not so far.
I think a better question would be, how are the people claiming 384MB (SE employees) calculating that RAM amount? Perhaps they are using same method HTC used for the odd 288MB/192Mb on the TouchPro/Diamond?
