I tried out yesterday sharpness=4 in Sarmadīs 5.7 photometry supported driver, but I will set it back to sharpness=5. With CID36 cam module quality is better. The vertical lines do not always appear. Only when many dark areas are in the picture. I have also some without any lines

ISO100, 1:1250 F:2,8 sharpness=5, focus infinite 18:52

ISO100, 1:1600 F:2,8 sharpness=4, focus infinite 17:39

less details on the line of the wall on thehouse in background and a bit blurry...

Guys, can you mod first official camera driver? From R1A firmware, that was the best driver(no vertical lines at all!!!! picture quality settings was the best!) I have a few pictures taken with that driver at home. for me that is the best driver, but i cant find it :(

i have it (v3.8, R1A044) but lines are visible too. this isn't driver issue. maybe not everyone know but:
- horizontal photo (vertical lines)
- vertical photo (lines becomes into horizontal form)

so, this can be sensor or DSP or both issue, who knows...

I think but i'm not sure, Vertical lines is the refresh rate of camera module. 50Hz, 60Hz an the automode function. You can disable it from the driver...
