That's the first thread about R380 i've viewed The member YAL from iXBT forum was the one, who wrote file manager for R380, that allowed to achieve all the files from both c: and z: drive(write protected drive, that's capacity, as said in that thread, is 7Mb!!!)
I can translate it that thread to english if someone is interested...

2 mins!!! My backup takes about 10min:/. Let's see your log and find out what's the difference.
BTW Do you know what are the *.ecs files? I've figured out yesterday night that these are simple zip archives. Try to rename them to *.zip and view what's inside.
There's the full copy of c:\ flash disk(that can be modified) with localization libraries, call databases, phone book etc.
And synchronization files are simple compound documents.
I'll try to write some testapp today.

In the UK the R520m was first sold exclusivly by car phone warehouse, and was only available in copper le mans, I have one of these along with my TU1 proto, but there was only a very few, and all were sold in the first 2 weeks of release, and then there was a delay of about a month before any silver ones were released, so this makes me think that the copper ones were a limited run. When silver ones were available, they were so on O2 and vodafone only or sim free.

Yes the TU is working fine, still has the reseting of the time, everytime you switch it off and on, but other than that fine, had to use it a few weeks ago for every day use, when i was without a phone for a few days, and it was fine, now have it and a production copper le mans one, along with a silver one, and another copper one on the way hopefully, and two K750i's and a few others in the loft.

Anyone know what phone was used in the mission impossible film at the end when they are on the train, I know it is an Ericsson, but not sure what model it is, I would like to get one if I could find which one it is.

hmm i think i should have a chat with ericsson about that boat. it can go much fasther, they just need to look back in time at some old military prototypes.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |
