Someone apparently forgot the fact that SE mentioned that they are holding back from releasing Android phones until v2.0 is ready. |

I want Rachael way more than Satio now. 12MP in Satio is overdoing it, 8MP is plenty... Plus it's Android and looks bloody nice!

I really want to see what  is going to do with Android. HTC has some pretty good stuff going on with Hero.

I really want to see what is going to be doing with their cybershot line-up. heck, even the soon to be xperias have the same amount of megapixels (not that it translates to image quality or anything) as the highest current standing cybershot. |

For a long while i've stayed away from SE. i might be making a comeback with Rachael provided its Android and has
ATLEAST 3.2" screen. Hope its 3.5" |

For now ... Android still needs some improvements.
NON-standard Java J2ME implementation (Donut I'm unsure if this fixes this)
Flash is ONLY licensed to HTC at the moment and videos on Engadget show the production ROM having failures (after 4 straight attempts - Shockwave is not Flash and the only video they have showing video on youtube is "shockwave flash" (not sure when BOTH became one and the same; Shockwave Player + Flash Player on the PC is separate).
What I'll be following is 's media implementation over Android [I want to share content using UPnP and using WLAN to other WLAN devices. Also I wish to use my 3.5G HSPA service provider connection over the devices WLAN seemlessly to enable the FULL bandwidth of HSPA to my upcoming MacBook. I can do this on S60 and now on iPhone 3G via Joiku SpotLight/SpotPremium and I can support multiple devices doing so]
Another thing we should ALL focus on is HTC is becoming more a smartphone brand in its own right. They've done it with TouchFlo on WindowsMobile and now with Sense UI on Android its now officially going to bring a this interface (albeit with WM functionality) to WindowsMobile devices it makes in the future (no announcement of when it will begin this phase). This will UNIFY all devices it makes making users decisions (American's from recent polls) less confusing about Symbian/Android/WindowMobile ... and more about Sense UI on HTC products. IF you think HTC was a juggernaut as an OEM that built its name ... wait until you see this evolve. I'm hoping can compete not just with a polished GUI but more with pure efficient (super FAST and effective) applications and menu structure and data input not just a data consuming device.
All this talk of "modern" GUI's and OS' takes us all a step backwards. Sure the iPhone can find me a restaurant in 30 seconds based on food I want - but doesn't mean I'll find a fish & stick place within a 30minute drive -or- 40min walk of where I'm standing. This is just data consumption and relational database execution at its finest. HOWEVER its consuming data. I like many others write a blog - work hard during our professions and input data frequently updating source content for our extended support group and also manage data from very important meetings. I need a device for quick data input but without loosing amazing video/audio playback or video recording performance.
