Can I update my firmware with a mac?
I've never needed drivers or anything for the mac to recognise my k750, but I can only find a windows update program on seus.

so i get from all these posts, the hissing problem is real bad...
i have a k750 on the r1aa008 firmware and do not have a hissing sound at all, even not with the r1n035 firmware which i must say was full of bugs and problems. i guess i'm a lucky one.

I am still unable to update my k750 i on Orange. I am told that there is no available update, even though I am using R1N035. I have tried using tdUpdateService_Inst_2.2.11b. And I have also tried deleting the DB folder. I have aslo tried UpdateService_Inst_2.2.13.7b, but still have the same issue!
Any thoughts?

Despite the fact that the SEUS II update executable is heavily based on Java and Flash content, it uses proprietary APIs to access the handset's firmware only to be found on the Win32 basecode, so for now and the imminent future I wouldn't hold my breath... |

I just updated my K750i on Orange UK today and i still get the transfer of MP3's bug.
Delayed Write Failed it comes up.
Any ideas? |

Hi,
I Updated my K750i yesterday with UpdateService_Inst_2.2.11b.exe setup.
But it failed twice at the very end,(almost about to finish stage, when the progress bar in flash was near end), But my phone now shows R1AA008 in Software info.before update it showed R1N035.
i want to know is it fully updated or i have to reupdate it?
can anyone tell me how to test to verify that my phone is completly updated with R1AA008? |

you should test your phones all around performance.. try it out!
if the phone works without hiccups then its fine... dont worry about the meter gauges... maybe its a software problem with SEUS...
by the way.. SEUS II version c is out. go check it out!

This is a known issue with all the SEUS II update clients. You might want to check your service menu for things like R1N035 under the customisation header that may suggest that the update didn't go through properly. Unfortunately there is no indication that there's something you can do at this stage other than wait for SE to post another new version of the update client (FYI .7c does not rectify this) or a new f/w version all together. |
