hey thanks jack-spicer for ur replys to pms and other geeks as well,
here is what i did,
1. created two airtel profiles.
2.after connecting phone to pc and using ex. ini. command as AT+CGDCONT=,,"airtelfun.com" dialed connection from pc having windows 2000 and IVT bluetooth software.
3. dialed from mobile with other profile(connection), and got the error
4. so when i tried browsing net on pc i got error in opera (with proxy set as 100.1.200.99 and port 8080( even tried port 80) ) as u are not allowed to request this url.
5. I even tried utorrent with proxy settings but there was nill datatrasfer , i.e. connection wasnt working at all.
So i ran ipconfig /all command on pc to check ips and dns and i got this

Also when i tried using net on mobile, (by same making two coections active, i got the same error saying u are not allowed to reuest this url.
So anybody can check whats wrong i am going, and any suggestions to rectify the problem, in order to get free access to airtel gprs?
I am staying in pune (maharashtra) and using airtel prepaid on nokia 6630 .
Is there anybody from pune on this forum successfully running this trick?, please let me know( u can send me pm as well)
Please guys help me to solve this problem, i am waiting for this for months (i was using this trick last year and even downloaded in gbs) so i am desperate now to get it free again, by hearing ur expiriances.

One more thing i did last month that, there were good schemes for new sim pre paid sims of airtel.
They were giving balance of 122.50Rs on 50 rs card with 1 month validity. So i bought 3 sims and used all the balance for mobile office only so effectively it came out to be 150 Rs for one full month mobile office subscription which is actually charged around 360 Rs.
But still considering the pathetic quality of signal strength, at our area (getting 2KBps speed for downloading, its not worth to pay even 150 Rs for the service, rather i would go for free trick.
So here is my story, hope i will get this problem sorted out soon and rip ***tel as much as possible.

CAN ANYONE USE YAHOO MESSENGER OR CLIENTS THROUGH LIVE?.......PLS HELP.........................................................hey guys anyone using yahelite here..? mine is not working..............configured your-freedom...its too not working.........is there any new method for configuring ur freedom.........months ago yahelite(configured with yf) was working fine 4 me.......now your freedom msg show proxy error..........anyone pls share ur ideas.........

hey guys AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","airtelfun.com" worked!!!thanks a lot!!!
but the only thing that only google is opening 
i forgot saying thanks because i was sleepy at that time...i sleep at 2PM and get up after 9PM
neways...any suggestion to open all sites?only google is opening...the proxy doesnt respond to request for other sites

hey guys, thanks for replys.
Anyway thanks jack-spicer to show me light to enhance mobile signal. where are u from btw? Can u elaborate more on 'manish' u told about getting ant and other stuff there.
If its not much costly i would surely get it as all in our family as well as relatives who come at our place bear trouble of interrupted/dropped calls and running around in our home to find suitable area having satisfactory signal strength. Even for 'idea' we foace this problem. If if it works out as expected i would even consider getting multiple sim cards as stated earlier becoz last yr when i was using MO i was usually getting speds ranging from 20 to 25KBps for downloading.
Can anyone also contribute to means to enhance signal reception for mobile? Or should i start new dedicated thread for it?
And jack-spicer, how come u concluded that free gprs has been blocked in maharashtra? Is it becouse of the msg i get or the DNS addresses? I am not expert in networks, so getting to know this stuff a littile bit more.
In the earlier pm u have daid that free gprs is working in pune, so do u know some one wi th whom i can have a talk with? or is there any post u have seen regarding status of free gprs in pune? |
