yapliren: i remembered u were telling me something abt ISO 200 for digicams... I am simply ignorant abt this. I want to buy a digicam (decided to scrap the idea to get a MCA-10 or MCA-20). I was offered a Sony Cybershot DSC-P30 for SGD$320. Worth it or not? It's 1.3megapixels but got 3x optical zoom & the ISO is variable (auto, 100, 200, 400). U think it's a good buy? |

i think canon will be better choice. Canon color is wonderful or can say exactly the same like the one you see. Canon a200 is a good buy . Last weekend i saw one in seremban terminal 1 . rm890 for camera + 64mb cf + recharger battery + charger.
Sony product is ok, but you need to put out more money for it memory stick. 128mb ms is arround rm280

64Mb plus built in 8MB is not enuff for me....should have bought the 128MB SD instead, Dorland's and Taber's medical dictionary took up around 13MB liao....
but way cool...felt like having most of the popular textbooks from my uni's library in my palm...kekeke |

liren: But my budget is very tight. Abt $300 - $320. I guess becoz the DSC-P30 is discontinued (old model) that's why the shop willing to let go cheap. Warranty for a year. I couldn't agree more with u on the memory stick. Sony only includes a 4mb memory stick! Memory stick in SG is cheaper I guess... abt $60+ for a 64mb...  |

if you don't really really really really need a digital camera, don't get it first. First, technology is not mature yet. With 2mega pixel photo (1280 X960) you can just print out as 5R photo. Those cheap kodak film can promise to have good quality at least for 10R. Second, price surely will drop after new product come out, maybe 10mega pixel? 20 mega pixel ? |

I think if I dun like ot then can sell back  That's my only consolation  I like having a camera ard wherever I go. Cannever know who I meet or what I see. But, carrying my normal camera ard is frustrating becoz I only get to see those picts after the film has finished (which is abt 3 - 4 mths time). I dun really take a lot. The last pict took was with J.B Jayaratnam! |
