Vietnam could have been won. However, the politicians were in charge and not the generals. War is just another business as any other business. How many rich kids have died in Iraq so far? - None. How many ppl died/MIA in Vietnam? ~58,000. Now veterans benefits are getting cut. How many ppl die each year in alcohol related car accidents? ~50,000. Who cares. Alcohol tax is high and lines the pockets of the industy and the government.
More ppl/family members/visitors get killed buy their own guns, than intruders into houses of gun owners. However, gun safety/locks are not considered by the GOP to not lose the support of the NRA.
It is not about the american ppl. It is all about the bottom line. Sad but true.

gah!
10,000-15,000 troops beseiging fallujah, and there's estimated to be anywhere 10000 to 100000 civilians inside the city. Rumsfeld says that he's confident that we won't kill 'many' civilians.

That is the beauty of the english language. For every human misbehaviour there is a nice sounding word.
War dead soldiers in Iraq -heros who died for their country
Civilian terrorist victims - heros who died for their country
civilian casualties - collateral damage
layoff - reorganization
demotion - repositioning
shutting down manufacturing to cheaper mfg. - outsourcing
Making your lobbyists rich - WMD scare tactics
Making your lobbyists rich - There is no global warming
Making your lobbyists rich - no bid contracts
Making the rich richer - taxcut

Geech, what is his problem. I don't think we talked about John Kerry. The ugly truth must hurt. I would really like to spend my money on american products. btw I drive an american car. But unfortunately most things you buy are Made in China.

I support the American economy! I collect Zippo lighters and I drink Jack Daniel's whiskey! Please support America; buy a Zippo and send it to me as a gift!

first of all, its nice to see that you're quite capable of presenting your case in a intelligent and mature manner.
Does a majority vote mean that the majority is right? Most people were for slavery 200 years ago; so was slavery right back then? Also, i'd hardly call a difference of 3 million votes enough of a significant difference to say "most."
I'm not going to even waste my time refuting the rest of your points.
I can't stand ignorance

think his name & number of posts is a hint..
policy and politeness both start with 'poli' -
which seemingly doesn´t mean nothing..
