So, some of U have had the GS3 for a while now. What can U say about the battery time and the over all performance with a lot of apps installed? It's a big battery, but it is also a big screen which is a power thief. My SE Arc is dying and needs to be replaced. This is my first choice... I think. Enlighten me please!

Does any of U use the flip cover? Is it crap or...?

Mine will see me through the day from a full battery. I have plenty of apps installed, far from 100 apps though, but overall i find the battery life to be very very good. The biggest battery drain of all is playing videos and browsing the web over wifi/3G. But again, i see the battery power going down but not dramatically like i would on any other smartphone. I think that extra 300mAh the S3 has over the One X helps it win best smartphone of the year, if only they squeezed in another 900mAh to bring it in line with the Razr Maxx pallpark and it would probably last a full day or two with continual use.

Thanx.

Anyone who use the flip cover? Do you replace the back cover or put the one outside the ordinary back cover? Does it work well or is it crappy?

Getting my S3 tomorrow after the disaster that was the Sensation XL, battery life has been mentioned in previous posts but to clarify.... I post around 20 times a day to twitter and the odd one or two to face book and probably send no more than 3/4 emails a day.... Can I expect a full days use?? as the Sensation XL had to be charged late afternoon..

So I bought an SGS3 with a flip cover. Feels gooood!
For my Arc I had a car holder, but now I realise that it is hard to find a suitable one when I have the flipcover.
Any suggestions?

I first thought of a universal adjustable kind of holder, but is there anyone better where you actually can click-on the phone?
