Colour balance is useful, gives you a lot of flexibility to adjust stuff. i was talking about colour filters (Only, not the AE Lock)
I think that would be good.
Document mode is useful at times.
Smart Contrast is a VERY VERY good feature, we should not eliminate it I was thinking of enhancing it to get a kind of special feature mode

@ Coollong
I thought that for the very first version of Cybershot Xperience but there are alot of limitations that way.
1. You sacrifice the scenes - some of which are very useful
2. Limitations occur in scene modes e.g. you can't turn on flash or focus in landscape mode, you can't change AF Mode in Portrait mode, can't turn on Flash in Beach/Snow mode etc.
3. Too little room for manual settings (Supports only 7)
4. Can't use manual settings in video mode because scenes don't work there

* I think that we need to replace:
1.Manual Colour Balance between Cyan and Red
2.Manual Colour Balance Between Yellow and Purple
3.Manual focus
4.Saturation

Hi proto!
i will have to respectfully disagree with your choices there. I find that all of these settings you listed are VERY useful, and should not be replaced
But I fully trust Witchking to remove the settings he finds not as useful.

Hi Jake!
I think the best idea will be, to leave witchking alone to chose, because he knows what new features will be and he can chose which is better.

In that case, I believe you will deliver the great result and looking forward to test your next version driver.
Again, Thanks for making great driver and your kind generous for sharing the great driver |

Hi guys... Sorry for my long time absence...
@Witchking@
Why don't you use the smart contrast to the new "HDR" functionality?
I think there can be some usefull because the use of automatic contrast set up, and take out the manual contrast...
I don't use the features below:
vga(640x480);
manual ISO;
colour balance;
colour correction;
document scene (we can just turn on the macro focus and add some more light i think);
As you say, put the HDR functionality in scenes is not good because of the dependences of each scene (flash, focus, etc).
Whayting for your decision...
thanks for your great work....
