Thanks guys

You have tempted me to buy c901

Go Ceaser! Go! I'm more and more satisfied each day. Of course not the camera only should decide about our cash.

Second version of v6.3, complicated I know First version had sharpness at max and contrast at high black point as default. Now sharpness is much lower because at high values details were overwhelming, only macro mode uses high sharpness. Contrast is very problematic matter, high black point (deep black) is good for scenes where tonal range is monotonous, I mean no very bright and very dark areas. Everything changes in sunny daylight where shadows are much darker and details are gone, with neutral contrast shadows are good. I don't like sunny pictures with high black point contrast because this unnatural black irritates me. I saw something like this on some Elm pictures and I thought it will be worth to try this in C901. After all, default contrast can be changed in customization zone if someone like this Elm'ish effect

Some pics from yesterday (I hope not too much)

1. No, xenon can't load that fast.
2. In settings in camera menu you can choose fast or slow best-pic.

Speed of BestPic in slow mode is 3.75 FPS, slowest possible is 1.5 FPS but I'm not sure whether I can change this speed, I will try.

Discontinued? I'm not surprised, quickly abandon their products and FW support. Vivaz, X10, Hazel, Spiro... who cares about good "old" C901? Heh...

@ Raiderski

is it time for the release of new camdriver version? everybody seems to have been waiting impatiently for this this one i think will be already very well balanced when it comes to over/under exposure

by the way is it just me or i can't find such functions as black and white, sepia, solarise and one more which i can't remember anyone can tell me where it's hidden in this camdriver?

p.s. Raiderski would it be possible for you to take some other macro shots (e.g. flowers) with this lens that you used to take this photo of watch?
