i believe they are going to release a full touch java phone a300 or whatever. so if you asked me they are changing slowly but surely so starting from the oldest we have: W995, Yari, Aino, Satio, X2, X10, Vivaz and Aspen. If you check the phone i listed they have unique features you cant compare and we have a Winmo for people who like they slide out qwerty and bar qwerty.
if elm and hazel for cheap they will do well btw did sony ericsson abandon the cybershot and walkman name brand haven't see once since forever..... omg let this year be a big sucess for Sony Ericsson
im definitely getting and x10 though

Samsung and HTC both have had similar models. BB is working on something similar too. |

I seem to remember someone (I think maybe it was badassmam but not sure) said the next cybershot was looking like end of 2010. I think the general feeling was IF there was another cybershot coming then that would be it.
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

Will we see new devices at the show or have we already seen all?
I mean without X10, Robyn, Vivaz, and Aspen... I hope SE will present some High-End Devices like the X10. |

I'm guessing the possible appearance of Satio 2 - if not the announcement then a preview of some sort.
I wouldn't be surprised if we seen some lower mid-range touch screen phone(s), as this is what SE is lacking atm. Remember a couple of years ago when Dicky, referring to TS phones said, "we either embrace this technology or die" or something like that. Well I wouldn't be surprised if we see even more TS phones of all shapes and sizes.
They've a lot of ground to make up after all and I don't think they want to become a niche manufacturer again like they were years ago.

Anyone thinks there is chance of announcing a psp phone? Maybe the same form factor as the psp go - side slider. There is no need for UMD drive anymore, since the games can be downloaded and iphone/ipod touch proved that the market for mobile games exists. The screen can be smaller and the memory only 8 gb. |

Would be nice indeed Think they won't go much further than Yari-like things, though...

It looks like PlayNow's site.
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |

I don't see a PSP phone happening until Sony and Sony Ericsson combine PlayNow and the Playstation store. To be honest, as much media related resources that sony has, it would stupid for Sony Ericsson not to leverage this. Imagine one combined store where you can access apps, games, panels, movies, music, ebooks, etc.. from a sony ericsson phone, sony psp, walkman, laptop, or playstation 3.
This would create a software ecosystem better than Apple's because of Sony's resources in movies, music, and gaming. This wuld cross-sell many Sony/SE products as well. Hopefully Howard Stringer and the ndw SE chief put them on this route because I think thats where things are going. |
