no idea why the radio and mic file stopped working from those W980 acoustics.more researching need to be done here i guess |

I did it. I installed the "handset_0_call.wbxml" file, from the acoustic folder "Rayo_Power_v13.5_K850".
Now we hear loud during the call and work the microphone.
I'm happy!

For a short time, it worked. Now, while no longer working microphone. And I will need to reinstall "handset_0_call.wbxml" of w910.
I do not understand. If the files are of the same type, why not work anyway?

It's very clear to me. Files of type "handset_0_call.wbxml" are influencing the microphone functionality. If this file is not compatible, microphone will not work. And those that are compatible, do not lead to a very large volume in the helmet phone, while other are incompatible, giving a very high volume in the helmet phone.

Does anybody have the default layout_main.xml and MENU.ML files for W910i? Would be much appreciated if somebody can tell me where to find it... thanks in advance! |

edit: the main.ml file is not there, however i do not think i will need it soon
does anyone know if there is a way to edit the backlight timeout??

don't know. Now that you mention it I never tried more than 12 (I usually pared mine down about to 6 or so).

and is there a way to remove the animation in media player ?? ( i know u can stop the orb flying out by pressing "c" )
not that I know of as yet. Maybe with patching, probably not with FS modding.
i want the animation to be gone forever .. may be it will speed up my media player ... maybe but probably not  media player is good in concept but flawed in implementation imho.
and can we make all the things in application to show only the icons ..same also in games ??
try leaving a blank instead of item label in the menu.ml file. Again, try it. Probably will work...
it would look good .... just like in nokia Os ...

Actually, menu modding isn't the next level - VKP patching is. I'm too lazy to develop patches - I'll just wait for someone else to come along and do it. Menu Modding next to patching is child's play.

can u upload some submenus and along with modded menu file or tell us where to edit .. since i am using a menu icon set from okti .. and the layout also is different...

I have a big headset (Sennheiser HD 215) which sounds great with my K800i and G900, both with modded accoustics primarly to increase the volume on the headset. On the K800 I use W880 drivers with DRC off, for G900 I'm using SoundModLight. Both phones really give me the old-fashioned walkman-experience. But what sounddrivers should I try on C702? Soundquality and bass seem fine already on C702, so most importantly I'ld like to increase volume on the headset and set DRC off.
I could use some advise here, thanks.

The W910 has a useless red LED for the camera. Can anyone mod the light effect to make it blink when events occurs? For example blink every 5 sec if there are unread text messages. That would be nice.
