Thats a shocking difference in colour replication between the camera, I'm really shocked that the HTC is that bad.

I gave CPW a call today with regards returning my iphone within the 14 days returns policy.
The woman i spoke to told me ....I cant return the phone as ive made a call with it
Is that correct?
As anyone else had this problem?
Can you return a phone if its been used within the 14 days?
Thanks

I agree, but actually its better than previous HTC phones like the TyTN II which are usually fairly grainy. I used default settings for both so perhaps tweak of white balance or something might have improved the HTC.
anyway, I'm quite happy with the iphone photos. perfectly suitable for quick snaps and emails

It is very dificult to have a fully objective view about the iphone..
Having played with it for a few days i find it very difficult to go back to a device like Nokia E71..despite the nokia being a fully speced phone..
The iphone has a certain air of magic about it..the interface, the huge screen, the form factor, the briliant browser..and now the app store..
When 'jailbreak' becomes available it will be a hugely entertaining device to play with.. |

In Sweden you can't even return it if you just have broken the plastic sealing. Apple has given us special rules about it. So might be the case at CPW too.

Don't tell them it's not what you after, tell them it's not fit for purpose and doesn't work with your car kit.....
you've since been to Voda/O2/Orange/T-mo etc and bought a new phone that does work so no longer need CPWs phone, so would like a refund, you are happy to pay the x number of days line rental but that's it....

Is there a good discussion site like Esato, but purely for the iPhone? Am struggling to find good info on it...

Hi everyone !
I am trying to sort out the settings for an iPod Touch's Exchange server settings and wonder if they are the same as the iPhone's.
In the Touch
Email -
Username ( it shows greyed out, Domain/User )
Password –
Description – which defaults to the email address that was input
After touching ‘next’, a new box appears for the server address to be added.
My problem is that I am sure I input all correctly, but
I keep getting a password prompt saying wrong user name or password.
The folders on the exchange server are mirrored to the Touch so there is some kind of communication happening !
The reason I ask about the iPhone's setup is that I know a number of people who use the iPhone successfully on the same server.
So if I can check the iPhone's setup, I might be able to sort out what I am doing wrong!

Have had the iPhone 3G for a week now, though id write a little review on it.
I had the first generation iPhone so was used to the interface and how the phone works. The new one has the same high build quality, and i would say it feels nicer in the hand. The battery doesnt last quite as long but im yet to try turning off the 3G to see how long it last with out that. It last for about a day, thats with 2 hours of watching videos on the train to work, 30 texts, 30 mins of calls, and a good couple of hours surfing over 3G/EDGE or wifi. The usage monitor says i use it for roughly 5 hours per day. May not be good enough for some but definitely good enough for me.
3G surfing speeds are good, though as with every other network, i cant get 3G reception at work (in central london ffs). But on the train i do see having the advantage of 3G over edge.
GPS is excellent, normally finds my exact position within 15 seconds, and for what i use it for it was excellently. (i have a tom tom for car navigation already).
The Push email service is brilliant, i use mobileme and have had very limited problems. push contacts and calenders works perfectly and i'm finding it really useful.
The App store is brilliant, have downloaded a few games, an aim messenger, the romote to control itunes, a couple of social networking apps and an excellent google app. All were free bar the games, and the quality of them seem really high. Being able to download them from anywhere is a nice touch (fancied some sodoku on the train and had an app within a couple of mins.
Over all definitely a worthy upgrade (free upgrade for me). Really really happy with it.

I enjoyed playing with the white one.
I'm going to be waiting for Vodafone to give me a free one in Qatar though

what I don't get now that we have 3g is, why does the itunes app still only work with a wifi connection?

Maybe they will update it, but at a guess its because 3G reception isnt always guarenteed and a download might glitch if it stops half way through.
At a guess though they might change it with future updates
