I am tempted by this but ideally I want at least 2.6 inches so I think ill wait for a P1 sucessor. For me the interface isnt that much of an improvment. I could have many apps open at a glance on the P1 anyway.
But the d-pad will make the difference. How is wish my P1 had d-pad. I can trade the jog-dial for it |

I dont miss dpad on the p1. Im sure it helps but i prefer the scroll wheel.
Would this theme work with the P1? I know the icon layout is slightly different but it should still work right?

Does anyone know if the G900 will have QuickOffice or something to read and edit Word documents? Will it have a PDF viewer. An office application would be perfect or am I expecting too much? If it has the P1 software package, I'll be happy. |

the white paper is currently not available, but before it was taken offline, it mentioned that QuickOffice would be included.

Thanks, much appreciated. Now all they have to do is to add a few more colours and I'm sold. Maybe a white one like the M600? |

But the screen is the same resolution as the P1i's so it has more densely packed pixels and so will be sharper. I have also even been thinking of the Nokia N82 but it's got GPS I don't want and is bigger then the G900 and that touch screen really makes a difference for car sat nav. |

Im liking... Reminds me of a K750 and thats some what nostalgic as it was the last handset before being tied in to blackberrys and that... Really loved the keypad and predictive text on it...
If the price is 300 they have got an absolute winner...

I agree, need to talk more about these phones but at the mo it seems to be all about the X1 and the Nokia's. Still the phone isn't out for 3 or 4 months yet. |

I haven't read the whole thread...but have you discussed the marketing? I don't like SE's marketing on these phones. "for non technical people and parents who wants a phone where stuff just work"...
Whats your opinion on this? |
