question about the mp3 software, is it possible to sort the songs after the date they have been added WITHOUT making a playlist?

not sure. ive downloaded the software but yet to try it trance
on the side note i just noticed that the z750 and w910 have a similar style of the 2mp camera on the back..it kinda sticks out from this round shell..
thoughts?

Well Spotted, they do look similar indeed...
Maybe  have used the same modules that they could not sell in the Z models? Another reason maybe why it has no 3.2mp cam!!

hmm interesting peterkay:)
now im curious about the quality of the cam in the z series i know one of friends has the z610 but it didnt click to me before...i should ask her for a few photos 
any better or less quality photos then any other standard 2mp cam on sony ericsson phones such as k610 2mp cam..?
and,
Since the module is different..for what reason,who shall know..it quite possibly be your reason peter kay they just werent selling it on zseries..so chuck it in the last highend walkman phone for 07'

Anyone got problems with the call list?
It simply says "call lists empty" and closes.
Unfortunately SE support didnt know anything about this phone - or even if the OTA phone update had been removed.

about the web browser, is it possible to jump one screen at the same time? on my k610 you use the "9" button to jump a screen but can you for example use the right or left D-pad to jump one screen at the same time or is it still the "9" button on keyboard?
can you create a shortcut to an application in filemanager --> program? i know that it isnt possible to do that on my k610.

i dont think you can trance you probably use the 9 aswell to jump a screen
but using the dpad..i somehow doubt it
i dont think you can create a shortcut to an application in file manager..i couldnt with my k610 or w880 same probably goes with the w910 and k850
its a thing s.e hasnt 'added' yet

anyone else noticed how tinny the sound is? also sound like its being played underwater sometimes
or is it just me?
it has to be the worse sounding phone i have had, must be something wrong with it! |

i know exactly what you are talking about,this usually happens when you encode your mp3's with a very low bitrate,of about 32kbps...well atleast that's what happens on my w900i and what i have come across with other phones.so try increasing your bitrate,if that is the case...

if your encoding your mp3 at a low bitrate shame on you,, encoding it at least at 128kbps minimum!
most of mine are 192 or higher,,some are 160kbps
now im thinking people who say the sound is poor,,seems that theyre the ones encoding mp3s at shitty quality :/

well i used the disc to phone software that came with it but maybe i had my settings wrong?

oh god merciful why.just kidding ..why do you use that program..fare enough your choice,,in my opinion just convert them using lame encoding..with say goldwave or something similar and just drag and drop later into your phone i think its a better way then disc to phone:)

All my mp3's are encoded at 192kbps+ and the speaker still sounds tinny. That's the way it is I think. Very similar to W880, maybe not as bad as.
The new Media Mgr PC s/w is needed to add the Sense Me metadata to your tracks before transferring them over to phone. It's slow! Took about 6 hrs to read 4 gigs of music. Although you can add the Sense Me data as you're tranferring the music files to your phone. God knows how long that would take. I used s/w to add the metadata to all my files in my computer all at one go so I can later just drag+drop to the mobile w/o wondering if the Sense Me stuff's there or not in the files. |
