Because I'd have money on they've not read the manual at all or bothered to check the SE site. The two most common places you would get info about your new purchase. there just seems to be a lacking of common sense recently on here. people asking questions or attacking the phone without doing any research themselves first. |

So you agree with me then that a simple, "have you checked the manual" or "I suggest checking the SE web site" would have been sufficient and a good deal less arrogant!
I have owned the ... T68i T610, P800, P900, P910, P990, W950, P1, W960 But SE have now totally lost the plot. |

Possibly. I may have been OTT but there are so many posts like this these days where the poster appears to have done nothing for themselves. If you look at my previous posts I'm always happy to try and help but people need to help themselves a bit. |

Yes it has but as I've said have a read. You'll get a far better understanding that way. After then ask questions if you need to.  |

I have done that and what a mistake it was!After doing it,the radio became useless,since every time I opened it,the phone restarted.But then again,I have an older fw version so maybe the new one doesn't have this problem.Anyway,I don't understand why you ask people to do this,since it restarts the phone all the time

I'm sorry to hear that, but makbil was lucky. If you have that problem, then you have to press as fast as you can, settings, and turn off the last 2 options in RDS.
That being said, I expect R10, R11, etc.
P.S. I don't say that this fw release isn't good, what I meant is that we are on the good path for the ultimate smartphone  |

It wasn't luck I've had this problem to an extreme with the previous version so I had created a shortcut to a station that did not broadcast RDS.

Preset a station in the FM radio, one that you know doesn't broadcast RDS. Then, if you go to an empty location in the shortcuts menu one of the selections for adding an item is "FM Radio station".

We learn and improvise out of necessity, otherwise after reboot the radio starts with the last station used and you can't escape the reset cycle unless you are a fast gunslinger...er, I meant a stylus user .

The new firmware is good as it now has better performance and the speaker icon is now available while speaking. I had the bbconnect problem too. I just upgraded to the new BBConnect 3.45 and it works like a charm.
You can google bbconnect 3.45 and get the software.

ActiveSync is dead and I also cannot connect using POP3 or IMAP web accounts.
I wish I could go back to the old firmware! |

/6 is still not available. I've been using SE since the company started but i am loosing patience with its smart phone since they are not smart at all. Maybe should consider the w880 when it comes out. |
