They told me they are just waiting for DHL to collect the phone so shouldnt take anymore than a few days.

Not sure i beleive them. Why don't you ring the customer help line see what they've got to say

basically mate, if its been sent then in the last box it will say sent to courier for delivery - and there will be a date in this box. If the last box hasnt got a date in it then it still hasnt been sent.

DHL have just confirmed and O2 will tell you the same now that their systems are not updating. Because of it they can't release the phones from the strorage lockers until delivery has been attempted at least once.

WTF! I *had* arranged to pick it up as well.

This is a logistics nightmare.

I ordered my K800i upgrade on Wednesday and it was sent to the warehouse on Wed Jun 28 15:28:30 GMT 2006. Immediately, the order line status changed to 'out of stock'.

Having seen the posts from people who'd spoken to O2 and been told there would be no new sock until the middle of July I was a bit down heartened. But I've just checked again and they appear to have found some stock. On Fri Jun 30 11:30:26 GMT 2006 the order was handed to the couriers.

Don't lose faith guys!

why cant you collect it from your local depot. They advised me it will be in my local depot by tomorrow morning.

They won't release the phone as they are sent to depots bulk. They arrive in storage lockers and then get sorted early the morning of delivery. They will only let you pick it up if O2 have placed a 'Saturday' sticker on it. I've just had a 20 minute argument about it!

ok well I ordered one from ebay which is benig delievred on Monday but... I'm impatient so I went along to CPW and picked one up on the £25 12month tariff. Was supposed to pay £30 for the phone but takled them into giving it to me for free and I also got a 1gb M2 for 30% off nistead of 10% off which they do if you buy accessories with a phone

The CPW one has no O2 branding that I can see, no statrup or shutdown, so that suits me fine

Post the link and I'll have a look when I can. Seems a good price. Seen it for £39.99 + P&P, so not far off.

@masseur

Thanks for confirmation.... The branding is not that bad.... There is no startup and shutdown you can delete the o2 stuff then your only left with the internet icon only.... which isnt bad i suppose....

better then the other networks.... AND THE BEST BIT UNLOCKED.....

Cheers
