Those are: AT Commands that R380 recognize and some interesting string constants, that are used to create messages and which tell us that R380 should have many more features than it now has. Like stopwatch, synchronization and sim toolkit. Where do you think those fw source files are situated? In semc or somewhere in ericsson? Today i'll experiment with AT Commands to find out smth new.

I received a T68m this morning in Ziroccan Gold. It has R1C firmware on it and was made in malaysia. The mic doesnt seem to work and the reception is really poor but I will try to fix that. I will post pics later. |

Why T68, R320 and T39 could connect to the PC and R380 - not? There's nothing to do except to go to the SP.
PS I tried to connect my virtual modem on COM2 and i could .

@kothor
The joystick counter is 208798.
Why "greets"? I regularly post in this thread.

I found one recently on a market stall with only around 6,700 on the joystick count, my first T68m survived until 550,000 joystick count before she passed away...

@jcwhite Sorry, congrats . I'm very upset now, R380 refused to connect to the PC .

My friend had 900,000+ moves on her T68 when she sold it, and it was working fine too! I was so amazed I took a picture! I'll rummage through my image files and try to find it.
I dont put much stock in the joystick count these days as it has become possible to reset the count with the right software |

it may seem quite petty to some people but to me its quite annoying....
please see this post below and you will understand.

boba, i know you will agree with me that when people call an Ericsson a Sony Ericsson, its frustrating. and yes ive PM'd laffen to see if he can update them to say the correct names.....

What's the keypress sequence if in case you want to activate the codecs of our ericsson (not SE) phones??? Full Rate , Half rate and Enhanced Full Rate (battery guzzler). Although this is network dependent, still it would be appreciated if we know how to activate it manually.
Many thanks.
|
|
To activate EFR (Enhanced Fullrate): *3370#
To deactivate EFR: #3370#
|
|
Not sure if these codes work on Ericsson, because they should be for Nokia handsets:
EFR:
*3370# EFR will be activated once the phone is restarted (turned off, then turned on).
#3370# EFR will be deactivated once the phone is restarted.
*4720# Half Rate will be activated once the phone is restarted.
#4720# Half Rate will be deactivated once the phone is restarted.
On another site I found these codes:
*#3370# activate Enhaced Full Rate
#3370# deactivate Enhaced Full Rate
But on these codes I also get a message: Command Error!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
But here's some more nice AT-commands. These are al AT-comands for T68 but lots of them should be supported by other Ericsson handsets.
For checking what AT commands are supported, just type AT*
Might be the right codes, just that the possibility to activate/deactivate is not enabled since it's network dependent. Know that on older Ericsson phones it was possible via EMMA II to activate/deactivate EFR, might be possible on newer phones as well... |
@Tiger Is that from R520m_AT_DG.pdf? BTW can you upload to your site CHA-30 manual(i know it's SE, but it's interesting to read it anyway...)?
@kothor: No it's from t68_at_commands_dg_ver1_external.pdf (because I wrote that these AT-commands are all that T68 supports )
You'll get the newest AT Guidelines
Developers' Guidelines - AT Commands (5.5 MB) Aug 16, 2005
here: http://developer.sonyericsson.com/getDocument.do?docId=65054
CHA-30 manual ... I'd like to upload it, but it is only paperprinted and actualy I don't have the time to scan it for converting to a pdf.
