@Boba you had golden and silver R520's. Or maybe one from Le Mans edth? I thought you like R520 more than T68. @empty Thanks anyway. Where to find golden R520?

@bleurdeur
you forgot to mention together with the t20 and r310 is the battery of the t65. From my experience, it has one of the longest standby time together with the t20 I had before.
@gurus
What's the keypress sequence if in case you want to activate the codecs of our ericsson (not SE) phones??? Full Rate , Half rate and Enhanced Full Rate (battery guzzler). Although this is network dependent, still it would be appreciated if we know how to activate it manually.
Many thanks.

My t68m is getting more worse, the batt lasts ca 3 days, however i dont use that much. Guess its the old fw, but dont even think to make an upgrade, no chance to get r1a or r1b again.

Today I got a new gimmick. A CHA-30! Sadly it'S just a SE CHA-30 and not one of the rare /// CHA-30 but after some time I got it to work with my T68.
Sending handwritten emails is possible and works quite fine.
The pen recognizes what paper I use and just sends the whole paper as GIF-attachment.
Here's a pic of the original paper the message was written on
and this is the pic of the mail-attachment.
Sadly it seems not to be possible to use it direct with PC - you must send your notes as email (like the MCA-10 Cam only mail supports)
But it's a funny gimmick.

@Tiger it's that you bidded on ebay ca. 2 weeks ago? Where did it came from and where was it manufactured? @Boba I can try to search R1A/B for you. Have you ever seen R520m Le Mans edition "alive"?

Yes it's the one bought at ebay sold from www.sysnet.co.uk. New and boxed.
It is 03W05
Made in sweden
Some days before I also bought another CHA-30 because I had placed a starter bid on both and won both.
But the second is still on the post. Hope it will arrive the next days.

@bart its not the battery, its the fw. if i would flash it with r2b, would work again perfect, but then i loose tetris, game etc. those games make this model so rare.

then we should find away to break the code.
break the software so you can upgrade it and add tetris.
abit like the thing tigerente is doing for those 2 working wakaba's

breaking the code of R2B for implementing Tetris again isn't as simple as the thing we plan to do with wakaba.
I would prefer a different solution:
Read out the whole firmware R1A (for example with Cruiser) and store it at a safe place.
Then update the T68 with R2A or newer for good performance and everytime you want to think about good old days you can rewrite the R1A back.
BTW.: I'd also be interested for my own purposes to have a R1A-SW on my HD or on a CD!
@boba: Don't know if the parcel is out to me, but hink about it. I can make it the described way and send you back T68 with R2A013 or R2B013 or R2D005 and your actual firmware on CD for reusing it again later.

I would prefer the official and legal way to get those fw. Unfortunately only fw is r2a what my friend found once when he worked at helpdesk service

My little artwork is about to complete. Can I post some pics here?
And something new about R380. Now i really know its fw is written on C. Files were situated on .\iar-avr\inc\...(.\iar-avr\inc\ph_init.c, for example)
There's a great debug info in fw files, it can be viewed on phone as seen from this string:"%s CheckIfDivertedToVoiceMail called."
R380 could have an Synchronize feature (as T39) as seen from this message:"CreateNetworkBookObj failed in net_bk,c line %i! AF:%s:%d"
Some OS dialogs/controls: PreEdit(?), MessageBox, StopWatch(never seen in R380), DateInput, PhoneNoInput(?), NavigationSpace(?), TimeInput, StringInput, OnOffInput(never seen or it's simple checkbox?), OptionList(combobox), DataList(?), YesNoQuestion(message with Yes|No buttons, have seen some), OneOfManySelection NOfManySelection, Information(messagebox without any buttons?), TextFeedback(?), StatusIndication(?) ProgressFeedback(?), Movie(nice!), RealInput, IntegerInput, PercentInput, AuthenticationInput, SoundInput, CalculatorInput, CallStatus, CallMeter, MainInput, Clock,
There are many interesting dialog windows(some messages for them): PowAsic vendor: Dialog,
PowAsic vendor: Texas Instruments,
PowAsic vendor: Unknown!!!!
Nice OS UAE error message:
Operating System: Application: Error = %X Process = %d PCB = %X SP = %X
%s
Buffer pointer at %X
PC = %X %X %X (word addr)
R380 supports those AT commands:
*EACS *EALR *EAMS *EARS *EBCA *ECAM *ECBP *EDIF *EDIS *EKSP *EKSR *EMIR *EPEE *EPHD *EPNR *EPNW *EQVL *ERIL *ERIN *ERIP *ESMA *ESMM *ESOM *ESSC *ESVM *ESYN *ETCH *ETPM *EVA *EVD *EVH *EXVC *IO *ZAUCO *ZAUGA *ZAULO *ZBUZZ *ZDCTR *ZIMEI *ZKEYB *ZLOG *ZPDIN *ZPDOU *ZPPI *ZRAM *ZSBH *ZVIBC +CACM +CAMM +CAOC +CBC +CBST +CCFC +CCWA +CFUN +CGMI +CGMM +CGMR +CGSN +CHLD +CHUP +CIMI +CIND +CLCK +CLIP +CLIR +CMEE +CMER +CMGD +CMGF +CMGL +CMGR +CMGS +CMGW +CMSS +CNMI +COPS +CPAS +CPBF +CPBR +CPBS +CPBW +CPIN +CPMS +CPUC +CPWD +CR +CRC +CREG +CRES +CRLP +CSAS +CSCA +CSCB +CSCC +CSCS +CSMS +CSNS +CSQ +CSSN +CUSD +CVIB +FCLASS +VTS +CME +CMS +CRING +CAOV +CBM +CDEV +CIEV +CKEV +CMT +CMTI +CSSI +CSSU *EAAI *EAII *EAMI *EALV *ECAV *ECWV *EERS *EKSC *EMIV *EPEV *EWEV *EYAB *EYDE *EYDP *EYGP *EYPE *EYPP *EYPT *EYPV *EYRP *EYRE *EYSR *EYSS *EYTN *EVLC *ZREQ
R380 can support SIMTOOL. Where is it, huh?
Ok, that's enough for today.
