Just FYI...From Barclays' Note :
"Last week we upgraded DoCoMo to Buy to reflect our increasing optimism that the company could be the big beneficiary of smartphone proliferation in Japan, given their high quality network and evolving philosophy. DoCoMo's new smartphone, Sony Ericsson's Xperia, has sold about 120,000 units in its first three weeks on sale; Tsusaka's data shows that the initial 100,000 unit shipment to distributors sold out in 10 days, but another 50,000 units were delivered in mid-April, and a third set of 30,000 units is apparently scheduled for late April. Stores which open on weekends are mostly sold out. Sales over 100,000 units make a positive contribution to the company’s net increase in subscribers, so it looks very likely NTT DoCoMo will again have the top share of net adds in April. You can see that the Experia handset is enjoying unprecedented demand compared to previous smartphones on DoCoMo's network:
Xperia sales versus DoCoMo’s previous smart phones
Xperia 120,000 in 20 days
HTC Android 80,000 in 10 months
Blackberry Bold 60,000 in 14 months
Toshiba Windows Mobile 60,000 in 10 months" |

Hi guys
i just can't let go of this with DT/MT on X10, we all saw this statement below, but were did it really come from, i tried to find the source but can't find anything, is this an official statement ??
According to Sony Ericsson:
At the time of the announcement of Xperia X10 (3 Nov 2009) we confirmed on our product blog that Xperia X10 would not support the android core feature of multi touch at the time of launch. As the project has evolved we have subsequently announced that that Xperia X10 will be upgraded during its lifecycle with improvements in the User Experience Platform, incorporating software feature improvements and a later release of the android OS. However, owing to the particular hardware and software configuration of the X10, multi-touch capabilities will not be enabled in the core platform irrespective of the software upgrade. Whilst there has been intense discussion amongst online consumers about many of the detailed features supported by the X10, Sony Ericsson has at no point made any official statement indicating support of multi touch as a core feature of the Xperia X10.
Whilst Sony Ericsson does not generally comment on speculation about future product or feature announcements, our communication principle is to have an open and honest dialogue with consumers and we make the above clarification in order to avoid any mis-conceptions among purchasers of the Xperia X10. We have had extremely positive consumer feedback following our first shipments of the Xperia X10 and we are very confident that this product delivers a user experience that is truly unique and will delight consumers the world over. |

X10, or SO-01b as it is known in Japan, was the most sold handset in Japan during April.

re: Xperia sales in Japan, all I can say is wow, that is fantastic news. 120,000 in less than three weeks is a great achievement AND also grasping the title of DoCoMo quickest selling smart phone is a great feather in SE's cap.

I use gmarks to access my google bookmarks. Not browser integrated but can access all your bookmarks and with the labels.
Not tried exporting html bookmarks though. I'll give it a go and see if it works.

I'm considering buying a white housing. It shouldn't be that difficult to fit seeing as the X10 has almost zero moving parts.

Very good news, let's hope that with so many people who has bought it some person should can root the X10, because it seems that it is very difficult to do it and nobody even can do it.
I'm spanish, sorry for my english I use a translator since I do not know to write it very well |
