@jlf: Welcome to the thread. Dunno much about the V600's sms storage capacity. Have you searched the forums? The answer should be there.
No, you can't "lock" messages from prying eyes on SE phones.
@falcon: My guess is that the P990 shouldn't be available locally before May...and this is all speculation.

BTW posts in the regional thread don't count towards your posts. _________________

Howzit mense, from a humid and soaking Port Elizabeth. It's been hammering down over here, but heaven knows we need it, the dams have been practically empty for some time now. If i'm not mistaken there's to be a programme about Google on SABC tv sometime during next week. I'm not certain when and which channel, but it should be interesting to watch.

Overcast and humid in Slaapstad. I'm still pissed off at SABC..they were supposed to broadcast the Chapelle Show on tv but I never saw...called them up yesterday and they don't seem to have a clue..WTF?

But will deff be on the lookout for the program on Google- one of my favourite companies even though they've been displaying King Kong tendencies of late.

@da krypsta: What IM app are you using on the 6600? I've been using Agile, suprised that it was still free after the fuss some months ago when it was announced that they would be charging.
The last two days I've been excited at the rumours of the successor to the K750...still disappointed that it doesn't seem to feature 3G...have to say the pic in the rumours thread is the fuzziest I've seen.

I was using Agile for some time, but removed it because i was using it so rarely. I've been using Mxit, but only with Mxit users on my Contacts list, mostly just leaving messages for buddies. Instead, i've been using SevenMail quite heavily, since most of my correspondence comes via email. It works magnificently with gmail, haven't had any problems since installation, except when the networks have patchy gprs.
I'm not superstitious, merely mildly stitious.

Man, did we get 'moered' in that twnenty-twenty match.
The Aussie batsmen were simply explosive. No other word for it.
Fair enough, they have more experience with this format of the game, but still...
Found a nice site which allowed me to download WinRar for free, as well a host of other useful software. Enjoying all the downloaded ebooks now.

Ah, ebooks... Best thing that could've happened to computing, i think... Yep, we had a royal walloping, no two ways about it. Btw, how's this for interesting- my Singaporean buddy mentioned that a friend of his had purchased a Panasonic X800, in his quest for a Symbian handset. Upon using FExplorer they were amused to find that the phone's C drive contained, amongst others, a folder called Nokia, which contained some system files. Possibly a legacy carried over from the licensing of the Symbian OS?

This evening while doing a bench press at the gym I spotted Virgin CEO Richard Branson.
For a multi-billionaire he was quite laidback...as is the case in Slaapstad no-one hassled him although it should be said the gym was fairly quiet.
And no,  I didn't manage to get a word with him.
