Lucky bastard .. the White looks sexier but may be a pain to maintain. Stares guaranteed with the white.

It's true, I get stares everywhere with my white X10. On the maintenance side, the back is very high gloss and hides any smudges really well but can feel greasy if it's not wiped regularly. I can imagine the black may have pocket fluff stick to it. I guess it depends on what you can deal with. For me white is king.

I have just received this from SE Support about the R2 update.

Dear AndyD777,

Thank you for contacting the Sony Ericsson support centre.

At present we currently have no release dates for any software updates for the X10, any notifications for future updates will be announced on the Sony Ericsson website.

Kind Regards,

I had a crash on my X10 yesterday, playing with Bluetooth connection to my MacBook Pro.
The phone just restarted, no warning whatsoever.

Is there some crashlogging on android ?

I have also had the FREEZING issue about 3 times over the three weeks with the phone.

First, when I answered a call, it Froze. Once when i was trying to access my Phonebook and once when I was trying to start an Application.

Oh no... here we go.... SE need to fix this I fear before we have another K850 / C905 Reliability issue !!

Proud New owner of a Black X10...

Getting to know it better... and Software update says my phone is up to date with the 14 version.. ?

First Impressions - lighter than i thought it would be, timescape spline Fb and twitter blurry images suck... have to tinker around with the rest of the phone... but pretty happy after 5 hours of use...

I find that the timescape photos are better if you set the contact pictures to something more high quality. I did that for several of my contacts and the picture quality is much nicer. Granted the picture is still blurred a bit but that's so you can read what's on the tile.

@bavlondon2 Nice Avatar

I have been quite pleasantly surprised by mine today, though I must be on bout the 3rd /4th cycle of charging fully, and almost every late evening getting down to 5% or less. But today I used Wi-FI for several hours, I can do this if I'm in the same room as the router it seems. Hoping the next big FW will improve this as I love Beebplayer, but would currently be limited to using it in the same room as the PS3 and TV so it's a bit pointless. This does grate a little after being used to being able to use both PSP and C905 upstairs, away from the router.
This aside I am still falling more in love with the phone everyday. I do think that part of the problem with the battery life might be that you compulsively want to unlock and scroll through the three screens and your installed apps, even though nothing new has happened since you did that about 5 minutes ago.. But perhaps that's just me.

Sorry >500 I forgot to offer my condolences.. Hope you get things sorted soon..

I see that Froyo definitely seems to be going at least Beta from May 19th by all accounts so hope this ties in with the big Se Update. She's just gonna get better...

Interesting! I have the exact opposite results with my WiFi, with the C905 I had to be close to the router, with the X10 it works everywhere in the house, I had assumed they improved the antenna.

Have you all tried the beta version of Skyfire? Have you experience your phone crashes/reboots/restarts when playing a video? Video loads up but stuck at 25%?
