Just finished watching The Magdalene Sisters film. So so sad and brutal. It was about how badly nuns treated women many years ago in Ireland Bought a tear to my eye at the end. It was all true aswell and so very sad and shameful.

I like reading have read a few books but not as many as i think i should or have liked. My fave ever book is Star of the Sea by Joseph O'Connor. Its all about the famine in Ireland years ago and also the Irish emigrating to America plus other stories in it. Its a mixture of everything even fantastic Irish humour. What have you read?

Wow sounds fascinating I do like some fantasy books but best of all is Stephen King. I also like Terry Pratchet. Reading its good exercise for the brain Maybe we should start the Esato book club thread where we can discuss the best books. Or maybe its been done?? Although it more than likely won't be popular cos instead of reading everyone is on the internet instead or reading ebooks on smartphones. My brothers ex Steph she honestly could read a whole book in half a day

Good morning all.
ESATO book thread. Nice idea. But yes you are right, people prefer to stay on net or playing games instead of reading books.
I dont like novel, drama books. I have never read that. I always read selfhelp books. But thats a long ago. My K850i has made me forget about books.
Hans, get well soon again.
Sean, so sad that you've got damaged piece of aino. Aino is still available here in box-pack condition.

Morning Ceaser how is you?? I just had a shower with nice bathroom heater on cos its so so cold outside. When i stepped out the shower into my dressing gown i nearly froze to death we do not have central heating all over the house. But we do have 2 nice fire places in living and front rooms. Nice and cosy in winter.
