@Aya: why you dey yab me like this, I knew I wanted a smartphone two days ago, and was ready to pick up the P910 next week, until I saw the K750i. you need to hear the sound that comes out of the built in speakers. And the camera is just amazing, including videos. You know I told you I would like a good camera on my phone, hence my attraction to the K750i. And I remember Mamba saying that he could do multitasking on his K750i |

@amby: Yab ke? I was paying you a complement. OK. Let's make it simple. If your preference is a multimedia device, you cannot go wrong with the k750i. But if you know that somewhere along the line, you will need more serious work tools... the P910i is what you want to be getting.
Did I do well?

Yes you've done well. Deep within me, I know its the P910 that I need, but I was hoping someone would discourage me from buying it. so P910i it is.

This is strange, how come Yahoo Messenger, MSIE, MSN Messenger and MS Outlook work with my Vmobile connection, but not Opera?
Opera works for Aya but Outlook does not? Mamba can't use Yahoo messenger and Opera. There must be a glitch in the system.
By the way, where is Teexl? is he still suffering from waist pain as a result of crouching in the corner with vmobile gprs?

Of course there is a glitch in the system. Its because of that glitch that we have been able to use a WAP connection to access Web services in the first place!

You shouldn't have any problems with downloads using MTN. What are you trying to download? and are you downloading to your phone?
You need to have three WAP profiles on your phone, one of which should be MTN GPRS in order to gain web access (required for opera, messenger and mail clients to work on your phone) |

@All: I spent the greater part of the night tinkering with settings on my phone's email client using my yahoo email address. Many people had said it wouldn't work, but based on Aya's assertions that yahoo now offers free pop access on certain sites I forged on, and I'm happy to report that my sleepless night was not in vain.
It worked for me using MTN and my yahoo.co.uk mail address on SE T610. Anyone with this combination can PM me for the settings if they are interested. |

@Angel: what happened to your T610? I hope its not the dual SIM adapter that caused the damage? |
