I understand, but supposedly the iPhone 6 has a minor battery upgrade to 1810mah whilst increasing the screen to 4.7 inch. I wonder what kind of technology or software development they may have in hiding with regards to battery performance.
20nm die + whatever they've done to iOS 8 in terms of battery usage optimizations. But the new SoC will bring the most in terms of power savings. If you look at Intel's die shrink history you will see that a drop from 28nm to 20nm is quite significant in terms of TDP.. |

Well if that is the new QX camera it is nice to see they're not just going to build on last years design style, and are trying to improve upon it.
OTOH I'm wondering if there will be a new traditional QX style camera, and that this will be some other variant.
EDIT
BTW, if the new Smartwatch 3 is rumoured to have built-in wireless charging, then doesn't it stand to reason that they'll have that in the Z3 and Z3c too? I mean, if they can fit that tech into such a relatively tiny body, why couldn't they do it in a larger phone?

dat bezel ^^ All those PlayStation phone wieners are simply delusional. Sony would have sold like 10 of such devises, and then cut it like they did with dash and endless other failures. |

The only way I can see a PlayStation phone working is with a slider design like the Xperia Play. Sooner or later phone tech will be at the level where they can make one easily powerful enough and with enough battery life without having to significantly compromise on design. When that day comes, I hope they do it. |

The problem Sony have is that with the iPhone 6 and Note 4 coming out the Z3 won't sell very well, especially when it's not really going to be an upgrade over the Z2.
Sony have to do something big with the Z3 and Z4 and have better quality phones with less problems and even better speakers and killer cameras otherwise I fear for their future in the smartphone market. |

only thing Sony can do or need to do is pull a really really impressive Camera for Z3, seeing that their software team still can't get their act together there really isn't much hope for that lol. It just need to have the best camera for Q4 and that is already the best selling point for Q4, like significantly better than the others. Even if they have the exact same spec or even slightly better than Note 4, it still isn't enough reason for many to choose it over note 4 especially with Samsung marketing and i6. Casual people would care more about the best camera and camera features in the phone more than anything else, especially S801 is more than enough for current OS and 3 gigs ram is still a plenty. |

Personally, I don't feel Sony should make a gaming smartphone
instead, they can make a universal accessory that fits all their smartphones, but it includes NFC+bluetooth connectivity so it can be used with any other phone as well ( but might not be able to hold the phone in it )... the accessory might also have built in battery that is able to recharge your phone ( using either a pogo pins for Sony phones or a standard USB for non-Sony phones ), so it won't be useless if you don't want to game with it, and it will be another reason to take it with you... not to mention that having a battery will make it gaming battery life for the phone better...

Thought the Sharp SH-04F Aquos flagship was ridiculous? Meet the mid-range Sharp Aquos Crystal!

Lil Comparison
Aquos Crystal 131 x 67 x 10 mm
Xperia ZL 131,6 x 69,3 x 9,8 mm
As you can see the ZL has almost the same dimensions and I prefer the design of the ZL. I don't like a monster bezel at the bottom and on top nothing... balanced looking better IMO and also for protection.
I find more interesting the 5.5" X Version. It beats the already small G3 for it's 5,5", impressive!
Aquos Crystal X 139 x 73 x 11 mm
LG G3 146 x 75 x 9 mm
The Z3 Tablet Compact could be the rumored 8 incher... That would mean automatic the next "big" tablet will named Z4 Tablet cause there is no new tablet on the way... Or we will see two tablets at IFA.
