sounds like a mental trick to make yourself feel better bout the update

if it is faster, it's probably negligible. but i suppose I'll take it.

I just had a real f/muck up with my Z1, I had bought a nilkin glass protector and it arrived today and I fitted it but there was a stain or pattern appeared not dust or particle it was like a half circle blemish about the size of a coin, I fitted it onto the glass screen as I had already removed the ASF

It wasn't that bad and could have lived with it, I contacted the seller and he agreed to send me another one which was fine, so I got my finger nail under the opening were the notification light is to remove it and I got a hold of the display instead and while I was trying to gently prise it up I cracked the screen of the phone, I had gone too deep

Now my Z1 screen is cracked in an inverted V shape from the notification light area, I am kicking myself, so annoying it is untrue, I had a great screen and now I'm going to have to buy and fit a new one myself, I have a source but need to make sure that the one they are going to send me is a good one

I had a perfect Z1 and now it is ruined.....gutted

that's horrible news geoffxx..

hopefully you can get a good replacement screen and it'll be good as new. with the waterproofing, personally, i would be hesitant to ever expose it to any real amount of water ever again, even after repairing it myself.

good luck with that.. shame you don't have insurance or something.

for those with yellow hue issues, white balance settings have been ported from the japanese version to the global version

so check it out if you're having issues.

musaD - not really surprised. battery indicator glitches can happen with upgrades. I would just let it discharge all the way then recharge fully or reboot the phone. if it is a common problem, there will probably be a minor update rolling out in a few weeks.

Funny also that before update, mine was on 83 then after, it was down to 26.

And funnier that the battery sticked to 2% almost half an hour, which I am still using to recover my apps on Google Play. What's happening in here?
