My C905 has no marks what-so-ever. I've really looked over the keypad closely but there are no scratches anywhere! |

The Dreaded Build Quality of SE. The C905 is a flagship phone to which they dont seem to have learnt the errors from the huge problems of the K850i.
The scratching of the keyboards has been mentioned on a few other websites now from other people
Also i have read that the ear piece has been failing as well. This is from the o2 forum |

Would like to know from all C905 users if keypad get scratched when you slide up and down...
After of couple of month of use, the keypad won't look that great.. some experience from W910..

I don't the slide ploblem, and the lens cover I have to actually really try to move the cover in the closed position, and when I do it is only probably 1/5 of a mm.
My really problem is the battery life, I went away for a weekend, not thinking I will need a charger, which I didn't but very close to. In all fairness I was using the camera a lot and listened to music a bit, and the satnav on the way. I noticed the phone was very very responsive, the processor must have been increased significantly sinse the k850i, I can now listen to music, browse the internet, minimize it, reply to a text with reasonable speediness about it. |

The dreaded build quality? The build quality, overall, is great on most SE phones save the k850i, and the saem holds true on the c905, really good build quality. |

Noticed on another C905 a while ago, here in the C905 pictures thread:

Yup that was me. I get them from time to time but not to often. I don't think it's a build or -software foult. It just get's that way.

Don't worry, those are probably just ghosts.

As Wiki says;
"Due to the size limitations of modern compact digital cameras, the distance between the lens and the built-in flash has decreased, thereby decreasing the angle of light reflection to the lens and increasing the likelihood of light reflection off normally sub-visible particles. Hence, the orb artifact is commonplace with small digital or film camera photographs.
The orb artifact can result from reflection of light off solid particles (e.g., dust, pollen), liquid particles (water droplets - especially rain) or other foreign material within the camera lens"
The flash is VERY close to the lens, so make sure you have no dust on the glass, or worse case, under the glass!

How frustrating! (Good for you though...) Looks like I have to return mine then. Return for what? Repair? DOA here is five days. Refurbished? No, no, no. |

No slider scratching problem with mine either. Even tried to make it scratch and it won't. Got mine last week. |

Anyone else also finding that you get red-eye all the time (with reduction turned off)?
It's quite likely as the lens is so close to the flash module, but i have forgotten many a time to switch the flash mode to red-eye reduction.
It'd be easier if when the camera detected a face, to switch the flash mode to red-eye reduction automatically, or am i asking too much
Also, no slider problems here either.
