well i got my cable this morning everything went beautifully till it was 'Enabling functionalities....' on the DEFAULT LANGUAGE section, when I got:-
Error reading from server!
Error occoured: 0x002B65
I have emailed the screen grab to FaceOff for my credit. Does anyone know what caused this and what will I have to do next when I get my credit? Do I have to reupload the K7S file first and then the K7D file or just the K7D file. Many thanks

You will probably have to do both files again.
Did you flash them both at the same time or one after the other?
What OS are you running?
Do you have a DSS-25 sync station connected to your PC?
When I did mine I flashed the files separately, K7S then K7D. The instructions on the TS client says to do both at the same time, whereas on the TS website the instructions say to do one file at a time.
I am running XPSP2, apparently TS runs best on XP.
I do have a DSS-25 but before I started flashing the phone I shut down my PC and disconnected both the DSS and my bluetooth dongle to avoid any possible COM port conflicts. I also disabled Norton AV in the system tray, tried to have as little running in the background as possible.
I have flashed the phone successfully three times with no errors doing it this way.

i did them seperatly as per the website instructions. I don't have the dss station plugged, it never has been on this computer. I am running win 2k with no other apps running.
I am repeating the process now, first part completed ok now uploading language. will keep you updated. Cheers Col. Keep ya fingers crossed

I flashed mine both at the same time. It installed the firmware first then the language file, very smooth, no probs |

Ok,
I go something new. After ugrading to K700_R2AA003_RE29, I can't use FMA(float mobile) anymore. It says communication error. After downgrading to R2L001 I can use FMA again. Anybody else noticed?? |

Which cable it's ok for unlock/debranding f500i then sending ringtones/themes/games.
DCU-11 works ?

hi the dcu-11 wont work for unlocking/debranding.
But the unlocking/debranding cable doesnt work for games + apps etc.
therefore you need two cables |

Not true.
Ik have an ERt28 datacable. The quy who sold me this cable said it was not a service cable. However I managed to debrand my k700i with it(battery trick). Now I tried to use the cable with FMA(float moble). It worked. I can sent mp3 ringtones, themes and games to my phone

Are you sure about that.
Ive never come accross a t28 cable that has been suitable for both.
Any chance you can tell me where you got it from ?

I got my T28 cable today and just flashed my K700i. It worked first time flawlessly, and I now have an unbranded (from O2) phone with R2AA firmware 
I won't be too bothered about not being able to update throught the official site IF updates using the total server software remain free. I hope they do.

Help.. Got my cable 2day from face off.
I run Total and either just get the message when i turn the phone on when prompted :
Charging and than the phone constantly swiches on and off,
or take the battery out and get message insert sim when i turn back on.
Tried it on another PC and get the same can anyone help me on this one ?
