I think I prefer the Android system where you can out widgets and search boxes as well as icons on the desktop however you do find when you open the all programs menu you're lost in a huge mass of icons. My friends Hero is still quite jumpy as well, nowhere near as smooth as iPhone. |

Flight Control has had an update which now includes an Aussie scene with the Royal Flying Doctors
the author seems to have a bit of a sense of humour as now the messages you get when you land are things like:-
you bewdy
no worries
crikey
fair dinkum
etc
and also when the game ends you get the following screen

Why would you want to use the numeric keypad for SMS when you have a full QWERTY keyboard? And you can make the keyboard larger by turning the phone to make the display horizontal:

I know exactly what you mean. The iPhone really is a work of art in my opinion. However! I dislike much of Apples software, iTunes is painfully slow to start up and syncing is made very easy at all, Quicktime is god awful and many features are saved for "Pro" users. Apple should be using this software to advertise themselves. Even know I know that they would both run 10 times better on a mac I like the fact that I can upgrade my PC is any way I want hassle-free (I built it in the first place) and that it'll run 99.9999% of software out there unlike Mac OS. Apple users would no doubt say at this point "But Mac OS can emmulate windows" and my response would be "you shouldn't have to".
The way I see it is Mac OS is good for new users i.e. parents and older people; while WIndows is for more experienced people however the opposite tends to happen.
Sorry but that is OLD world thinking. You have NO IDEA how many applications are available on Mac OS X - and its growing exponentially!
oh and with emmulation - non of the sort. Its running WINDOWS pure & simple! Its called Boot camp. And with a virtual communication to the hardware via Parellels or VMWare I'm sorry but if Servers by BIG corporations using VMWare then there is nothing wrong with running WinXP/Win7 on a Mac.
There is a reason why the hardware on a Mac still runs better than your build it yourself kit Windows. its because the firmware, software, OS is purposely made for the Mac - which means less headaches on that platform than on Windows. Don't forget if you build a PC yourself you BETTER be good (more than your average gamer) for supporting your own machine as you'll always get "contact the manufacturer of said hardware" for support. That is unnacceptable by any means. I've used Windows since 3.1 to WinXP Sp3 and tested Win7 beta and i'm still unimpressed with what works with varying hardware as opposed to what doesnt (more on the latter). Win7 is MUCH better but there is a reason why many large banks/corporations did NOT upgrade to Vista and considering Win7.
back on topic!
I'm highly considering the following case by: switcheasy
Just 2 more weeks to enjoy this incredible hardware/software platform.
However I'm leaning towards the "more-thing.com" cases:
|AppleTV2|iPhone 12Mini 256GB|iPad Pro 256GB| Previously ... K750|Z500|Z520|K700|K790i|K850i, :Ericsson: T18z|T28World|T36m x3|T68m (Ericsson, not the rebranded T68i). |

press and hold any icon and they all start to shake.
then just drag them around as you wish
press the home key to finish (thats the button at the bottom on the front)
with the latest iTunes, you can also arrange them from there (click on your device and then go to the apps tab)

WMV are Windows Media files. Don't think you can play those on the iPhone. But there are converters on the web. One example at www.videora.com (which I haven't tried myself so I don't know how good or bad it is).

New iPhone 3G[S] user here!!!
I don't go full-time until Thursday, so it stays home in the box for now.
MAN this thing is beautiful.
1st question ... how the FRACK do I remove the SIM card? the tool only moves it 2mm away from flush, can't pull it out.
