Hi!
A few people think that the W902 is somewhat sluggish. Others don't.
Compared to a K800i (my current phone), is W902 faster, slower or equal in responsiveness?
Thanks!
BR Martin
Coming from a P990, it's fast and I have little to complain about. But previous feature phone users might not be too happy with the responsiveness.
@yea g
My Phone Explorer really solved the problem. So let me get this straight, it tweaked the system to receive only 3G signal right? So if I were to set it back to 'GPRS Only' on my phone, and after doing which I would want to go back to '3G Only', would I have to reconnect the phone to My Phone Explorer or has it tweaked the the system permanently so that '3G and GPRS' would actually mean '3G Only'?

Occasionally my fingers work faster than the menus, i.e. when you use regular keypad shortcuts to choose menu options, sometimes your fingers hit the next number before the menu has quite appeared. This is a minor point though - on the whole it's acceptably fast. I'd say maybe not *quite* as quick as the K800i was on its final firmware, but close. |

Yep - go into camera mode, press the spanner icon for settings, then go right 3 times - this brings up the focus menu. |

The review mentions the weird positioning of the fastport which I agree 110%. It's sad that SE's disregard for the majority has affected this otherwise excellent phone. If they must keep their own jack then they should reposition it back below because the awkwardness simply justifies a 3.5mm jack all the more. Have you guys tried charging it while using your HPM-77? It's like some humongous cancer growth of some sort sticking out of your phone

I don't understand the fuss about having a FastPort on the side of a handset - I think I prefer it this way tbh. I agree it'd be nice to have a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack though. |

The problem is when you put the phone in your pocket... (you can damage the port/earphones if you dont put it laid down) Having a fastport/3.5mm on the top theres no such problem.... Beside that is very unconfortable on the pocket |

I agree with you. I'm putting my phone standing in my pocket and the fastport is no problem at all. Anyway I bought Motorola S9 so nothing will be sticking out of it. Wireless headphones are the future |

Depends the pocket! lol Jeans with Small Pockets with fast port on the side are a pain in the a**. The Connector was always pulling out when the pocket is tight. With my N95 (jack on side too) i have never had this issue but than again i preffer the 3.5mm jack on the top |

Has anyone gotten scratches on his/her w902 camera lens?
I thought about buying w902, but the lack of lens cover kinda sets me off. I know that the lens is made of mineral glass that`s scratch-resistant, but something tells me it´s not going to be scratch-proof.
C902 would be a choice for me if it had a bigger screen, but not as it is with the 2" one. Guess I´m gonna have to wait for SE filippa or frances to come out to satisfy my mobile needs |

Nope .... it's recessed below the level of the back of the phone too so
you'd either be a numpty or very unlucky to scratch something that's
1mm below the back plane and only 9mm in diameter !!!!
I reject your reality and substitute my own. |

Has anyone bought it in green ? Are you happy with it ?
I am having trouble choosing green over black. |

Saw a dummy of the green one, any W902 in the flesh is nice to look at and the green one is no exception. But depends on the type of person you are, some might find the colour a bit on the dull side but I didn't feel that when I saw it.
