in this case, no need to set metering mode to "spot" instead to "normal" then?
with 'spot' you can point exposure with higher precision. sometimes with 'normal' is hard to find exact exposure if scenery don't have well defined dark and bright parts (something like the sky and the ground). anyway, I'm using 'normal' in most cases
- driver becomes supermode only. there is no possibility to turn off functions and use driver with standard functionality only
this means that you cannot disable functions (EV is function selector and zoom +/- is value selector) and bring back functionality of standard driver (EV is EV and zoom +/- is zoom +/-)
P.S. Whay I cant apply ISO when use slow shutter speed? I mean when I pust slow shutter speed on 2s and ISO 1600 and when I take a pics its say that ISO is 200....
Is ISO 200 for all slow shutter speed values?
Raider unfortunately I found bug with wrong ISO too... I did 2 photos with 1/250 and ISO100, but they are too bright (text photos) and EXIF reader shows ISO200...
give me step by step procedure (after camera open) to reproduce this. is macro on, is flash on, etc.?
OMG, a blurred spot appears in my viewfinder, seems like a particle but it's not on the lens cover, it must be inside lens! It's so irritating! I tried to disassemble the camera back cover but it is impossible to remove the two screws, are immovable.
welcome in the club :] dust under the glass is the most annoying thing in my K800. buy Torx screwdriver (I don't remember size) and then use something very thin (knife is good) to move up the glass
Also, it seems that SEM and EM do not work in twilight landscape, is it intended to be so?
works fine for me
I also found that EM mode uses a much higher compression. In a dark picture it drops from some 500k to 170k, with evident degradation in the image quality. Both in standard and fine picture quality settings.
not true, there is no higher compression. quality degradation? only if we consider noise as good (?) part of quality. file size is much smaller because noise is heavy reduced by EM which means: less noise = less data = small size
TW the camera crashes with EV set at +1.7 and changing the zoom. You cannot see a picture anymore, but a strange composition of colored letters and if you try to change other things it crashes (some times, some others it goes back to normal).
I will take a look closer at this. BTW. I want do bring back old zoom (smooth not linear) in next version

Yeah but i think it will be a little more complicated. I mean, the particle is not on the cover glass, must be somewhere inside lens camera module OMG. Anyway I will try to remove the demoniac screws. |

no, it will be only for zoom function (+1.7) and in video mode. I even like smooth zoom in photo mode but in video mode is still crappy

@raiderski, would you like a FS of the c702 to extract the driver out, it may be similar to the k800i's driver. |

try to do something with wrong ISO, I made many photos to find when the bug appear and I noticed that ISO200 when it was set to 100 after changing shutter speed. It doesn't matter if U set ISO and SS or inversely.
